Speirling PURE represents the culmination of tireless research and development to create a track-focused hypercar with 95% new components compared to the prototypes.
It offers truly accessible F1-level performance for any driver, with a strong focus on a simple and hassle-free ownership experience. This electric hypercar features a carbon composite body, a closed-cockpit single-seater with 1,000 hp, and a top speed of 305 km/h. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.55 seconds.
In its US debut, the production-ready Spéirling PURE was showcased in a "Monterey Green" finish at a high-end car dealership, museum, and restoration workshop owned by former race car driver Bruce Canepa, who first encountered the McMurtry team when they were attempting to set the Laguna Seca reverse hill climb record in 2014.
During an open house at Canepa, enthusiasts and customers traveled from afar to get a first look at the production car and hear a presentation by McMurtry co-founder and CEO Thomas Yates about the car's development process, from prototype to production.
From there, the Spéirling PURE headed south, across Monterey Bay, to Carmel for an exclusive Miller Motor Cars gathering at L'Auberge Carmel. Parked in a prime spot on the private street, among automotive royalty, the Spéirling PURE had no trouble attracting a large crowd.
Then came the big moment: The Quail, the culminating event of Monterey Auto Week. Alongside the latest offerings from other global manufacturers and automotive icons from past decades, the team welcomed thousands of visitors to the McMurtry stand, who were able to see the Spéirling PURE for the first time.
Finally, the Spéirling PURE headed to Laguna Seca Raceway for the Monterey Motor Reunion. As the birthplace of fan-assisted car technology, the Chaparral 2J—the first car to utilize fan-generated downforce—competed at Laguna Seca in 1970, making the Spéirling PURE's presence especially significant. It is ready to compete in GT1 Sports Club level competitions, Global Time Attack (USA), European Time Attack Masters (Nürburgring GP and others). The first customer deliveries will begin at the end of 2026. A maximum of 100 examples of the Spéirling PURE will be manufactured.
