con una mirada de lejanía sobre una pared corrompi-
da por la humedad, el tiempo y el sopor. Una bicicle-
ta estática y elevada por encima de su cintura se
confunde en los planos con ella, lo que engendra un
ambiente de solitud que sin duda sacude los senti-
dos de quien le confronta, mientras el pedaleo de la
bicicleta quizá se dirija hacia el final de la existencia.
La belleza o el horror de cada uno de sus persona-
jes son palpables con claridad gracias su técnica realis-
ta, que en el caso de la pintura es aplicada con óleo y
en la escultura sobre barros o cera perdida al bronce.
Hoy día, Amezcua Cuspinera se sitúa en el circuito
de los jóvenes artistasmexicanos conmayor proyección
nacional y una incipiente pero bien cimentada proyec-
ción internacional, que lo coloca como una promesa con-
sumada de las artes mexicanas contemporáneas.
