A few years later, Don Cenobio’s son, Don Eladio
would be the one to keep spreading the world of
tequila over the whole Mexican Republic and continue
its exports to the United States, all of this started by
his father. Accomplishing the challenge of raising the
consumption of tequila during the Mexican Revolution,
leading Sauza to be the most popular tequila brand
in Mexico and the world.
It wasn’t until the 3rd generation when Don
Francisco Javier, the last representative of the
dynasty, consolidated a national and international
company when he decided to modernize “La
Perseverancia” and having as a result a tequila fac-
tory equipped with the latest technology and machi-
nery, making it one of the most modern tequila
factories in the industry.
One of the most important things done by Don
Francisco Javier was the promotion of the Origin
Denomination for Tequila, being recognized
worldwide for it, and protecting a national patri-
mony as important and representative to the
Mexican people as the tequila.
These are the three generations who have
dedicated their lives to the creation of a magni-
ficent product, filled with history and legacy.
Algunos años más tarde, el hijo de Don Cenobio,
Don Eladio sería el encargado de continuar expan-
diendo el mundo del tequila sobre toda la República
Mexicana y continuar con la exportación hacia
Estados Unidos, que había comenzado su padre.
Logrando el gran reto de aumentar el consumo de
tequila durante los años de la RevoluciónMexicana,
llevando a la firma Sauza a ser la marca de tequila
más conocida de México y el mundo.
Y fue hasta la tercera generación cuando Don
Francisco Javier, que es el último representante de la
dinastía, hizo una empresa consolidada tanto nacio-
nal como internacional decidiendo modernizar “La
Perseverancia”, teniendo como resultado una tequi-
lería equipada con tecnología y gran maquinaria de
punta, convirtiéndola así en una de las plantas más
modernas en la industria del tequila.
Una de las más grandes aportaciones al tequila
que Don Francisco Javier hizo, es la promoción de la
Denominación de Origen para el tequila, teniendo
un reconocimiento mundial por ello, y protegiendo
un patrimonio nacional tan importante y represen-
tativo para los mexicanos como lo es el tequila.
