The subtile tone in a purse,

Tener un diamante As-
Chronos Peyrelongue introduces the exclusive “Ashoka” collection of diamonds. one the world’s
most prized gems of today. The Ashoka legend begins in 262 B.C. when the 41.57 D flawless dia-
mond was found in a Golconda mine in the southern region of India. It was named in honor of
the Emperor Ashoka Maruya, a devotee of peace, who is remembered for leading India with
love, respect and compassion. This particular cut and the diamond’s beauty lead to a
legend which attributes the stone magical powers by which all sorrows are taken away
from who owns it. Over the years it changed its original “cushion” cut to a rectangu-
lar design with rounded corners, accentuating the size of the diamond. An As-
hoka may seem a dazzling 30% larger than the same karat with an em
e
rald
cut. Furthermore, its brightness increases due to the 62 facets and
rounded corners that capture and scatter light.
To own an Ashoka Diamond is a privilege. Annual pro-
duction is only 500 diamonds all over one carat,
as it takes six months to achieve the
brightness of an Ashoka.
