¿Cuál es el mejor punto de acceso al agua?
Muchos barcos llevan un cabo que se encuentra atado
en un extremo al casco y en el otro a una boya que
flota en la superficie, para facilitar la localización. Si
no es así, es recomendable que el propio buzo ate una
boya o un cabo de señalización.
Para regresar a la superficie por el mismo punto, es
importante tener un carrete con una línea para
encontrarlo, sobre todo si hay poca visibilidad. Pero, si
se pretende subir a un punto diferente en el que se entró
al agua, hay que utilizar una boya de señalización, para
indicar al bote dónde se va salir.
Ser un buzo responsable:
1. Dado que la mayoría de los naufragios
son patrimonio histórico, está prohibido
extraer o alterar objetos de ellos, de hecho en
varios países esto puede ser castigado
con la cárcel.
2. Con los barcos de madera se deben extremar
precauciones, ya que la estructura es muy frágil
y podría romperse, enterrando al buzo.
3. En algunos lugares del mundo hay naufragios
de la segunda guerra mundial, por lo que
se debe tener especial cuidado de no tocar
algo similar a un torpedo o una mina, ya que
pueden estar activos.
