his is the time of year for automotive news to
be coming out of Germany and the reason is the
Internationale Automóvil-Ausstellung, better
known in these lands as the Frankfurt Autoshow.
Each year, Germany and France take turns organ-
izing their respective car expos, and this time the
German brands laid out the money to show them-
selves off on their home turf.
We are presenting two Germans and one English
gentleman on these pages. They made their world
debut during this event, which took place this past
September. The show was highlighted by alternative
energy and non-petroleum based proposals that con-
trol three quarters of the market.
Popular belief sees automobiles remaining the
most important means of transportation. That is why
we must assure that vehicles evolve in accordance
with the world’s needs and to plan ahead for a mini-
mum of 30 years.

Automóvil-Ausstellung, más conocido por
estas tierras como el Frankfurt Autoshow.
Alemania y Francia se turnan año con año para orga-
nizar su respectivo salón del automóvil, motivo por el
que en este año las firmas germanas hicieron el gasto
para lucirse en casa.
Presentamos en nuestras páginas a dos alemanes y
un caballero inglés, que tuvieron su premier mundial du-
rante este acontecimiento el pasado mes de septiembre,
dentro de un salón que se destacó por las propuestas en
lo que se refiere a opciones alternas al petróleo, con tres
cuartas partes del mercado en su poder.
Se cree que los automóviles permanecerán como el
medio de transporte más importante. Por lo tanto, es
necesario garantizar que los vehículos evolucionen
acorde con las necesidades de la población mundial,
pensando como mínimo en los próximos 30 años.
