Giant rays seemed to flyover our heads, calmlyglid-
ing through their marine domain. We dove relatively
near the shore of the island. This did not seem to mat-
ter to the huge whale shark, which swamby us majes-
tically. When we initiated our ascent we found
ourselves surrounded by those small, amazing crea-
tures known as jellyfish. So far the trip had covered all
our expectations but something even more exciting
awaited us: at night, when we plunged into the
waters, we encountered large numbers of whitetip
sharks hunting for their daily sustenance.
The dive spots on the island include Manuelita,
Roca Sucia, Roca Vikingo, Bajo Alcyone, 2 Amigos and
Silver Tip. All these sites will fulfill the dreams of
even the most demanding, skilled diver. If you love

Nuestros buceos se realizaron relativamente cerca de la
orilla de la isla. Esto no pareció importar al enorme tiburón
ballena, el cual se paseó majestuosamente frente a noso-
tros. Cuando iniciamos el ascenso nos vimos rodeados por
esos pequeños y maravillosos seres que son las aguama-
las. Si bien el viaje había satisfecho todas nuestras expec-
tativas nos esperaba lo más emocionante: y eso ocurrió
cuando, por la noche, nos sumergimos en esas aguas y
nos encontramos con gran cantidad de tiburones punta
blanca tratando de encontrar su sustento diario. Algunos
de los sitios de buceo en la isla son: Manuelita, Roca Sucia,
Roca Vikingo, Bajo Alcyone, 2 Amigos y Silver Tip. Todos
estos sitios cumplen con los sueños de cualquier exigente
buceador, incluso de los más experimentados. Si eres
