• Localizada en el corazón de Europa, Praga es la ciudad
principal de República Checa e indiscutiblemente la
joya del destino pues su cultura y las artes brillan con
especial intensidad en ese lugar. Llena de monumentos
históricos, inscritos en la lista del Patrimonio de la
Humanidad de la UNESCO, sin duda es una de las ciuda-
des más bellas del mundo.
• Dentro de las grandes bellezas arquitectónicas del país
podemos destacar el Castillo de Praga, construido en el
siglo IX, considerado la mayor fortaleza medieval del
mundo. Dentro de las joyas que aloja encontramos la
Catedral de San Vito, el Callejón del Oro y la Alquimia y
la capilla de la Santa Cruz. Ha sido recinto de distintos
gobiernos, convirtiéndose en 1918 en la residencia ofi-
cial del presidente de la República Checa.
• La cocina checa sorprende con su agradable toque tradi-
cional, pues a pesar de quedar de cierta manera influida
por la gastronomía de sus vecinos sigue inspirada en sus
recetas antiguas que la sumergen en lo típico y exclusi-
vo. Basadas en materias que se cultivan dentro del país,
nacen exquisitos e inigualables platillos de la región
tales como las bolas de masa de harina, salsas y sopas; el
solomillo con salsa de crema de leche, entre otros.
Cuenta con las mejores condiciones para la vitivinicultu-
ra, lo que ha hecho a sus vinos blancos acreedores de
grandes reconocimientos.
• Es un mundo de riquezas naturales pues hoy en día sus
valles y montañas siguen siendo cultivadas y, a pesar
de que la mayoría se han poblado, aún se pueden
encontrar lugares bellos e inigualables que práctica-
mente están intactos pues sus escenarios formidables
y salvajes no han sido tocados por la mano del hombre.
Existen especies que a la fecha siguen habitándolos,
como el lobo, gato silvestre, lince, urogallo (actualmen-
te son conocidos en muchos lugares solamente a tra-
vés de libros y zoológicos).

and soups; the sirloin with milk cream sauce, among

• It is a world of natural richness since now a day’s its
valleys and mountains are still being cultivated and,
despite of the major host part of it have been popula-
ted, we can still find beautiful andunique placeswhich
practically are intact because it’s fantastic and wild
landscapes haven’t been touched by the men’s hand.
There are wild species that still live there, like the wolf,
wild cat, lynx, capercaillie (actually are known inmany
places only through books and zoos).
