espués de siete años deminuciosos trabajos
de restauracióny reconversión, que iniciaron
en el 2005, el antiguo Palacio del Marqués
de Caro reabrió sus puertas bajo una nueva
identidad y con un propósito renovado. Así,
en 2012 se inaugura el Caro Hotel, cuyas labores de recon-
strucción no solamente consistieron en la rehabilitación
del inmueble, sino que se convirtieron en un ambicioso
proyecto de rescate histórico, debido a los vestigios de
civilizaciones pasadas que ahí se encontraron y que
tienen más de 2000 años de antigüedad.
Estos impor-
tantes hallazgos, llevaron a que los encargados del
proyecto le otorgaran una nueva identidad al servicio
de la hotelería, dándole un carácter que contribuye a la
preservación del valor histórico de la entidad, a la vez
que brinda elmejor servicio a sus huéspedes.

fter seven years of detailed restora-
tion and reconversion work, which
began in 2005, the old Palace of Mar-
quis of Caro reopened its doors under
a new identity and with a renewed
purpose. So in 2012 the Caro Hotel opens its doors to
what ended up being not only the rehabilitation of
the building, but an ambitious Project of historical
rescue, for there were remains of past civilizations
which have over 2000 years of age.
These important findings made those respon-
sible for the Project give a new identity to the con-
cept of service in the hotel industry, for they con-
tributed to the preservation of the historic value
of the building and, at the same time, continue
bringing the best of services to their guests.
