Es un lujo para los sentidos, que se ven inunda-
dos por los colores, sabores y olores que destilan los
productos frescos de los comercios. Aromas y matices
se ven plasmados en la gastronomía de la tierra. Una
de sus mejores representaciones es el arroz, prepara-
do de una y mil formas y que provoca una explosión de
sabores en el paladar. Para descansar, nada como tomarse
unAguadeValenciaounahorchatabien fríaenuna terraza
mientras el sol te llena de energía. El lago del Parque Na-
cional de la Albufera es testigo de uno de los atardeceres
más inolvidables. Dar un paseo en barca, mientras te dejas
abrazar por los tonos rojos y dorados, es un privilegio del
que todos deberían disfrutar al menos una vez en la vida.
Durante el viaje, merece la pena tomarse un día para
visitar algunos pueblos cercanos. Los covetes dels Mo-
ros de Bocairent, las joyas arquitectónicas de Segorbe y
el Monasterio de Santa María, en Simat de la Valldigna,
son paradas obligatorias.Como amante de la moda, no
dejo pasar la oportunidad de ver las nuevas tendencias
que ofrecen los diseñadores valencianos. Éstos tienen
un espacio reservado en el Eixample y el barrio de Ru-
zafa, en cuyos escaparates se refleja la exclusividad y
multiculturalidad de las creaciones.
Los valencianos esperan con ilusión la llegada de su
‘fiesta en llamas’. Las Fallas son un espectáculo para to-
dos los sentidos: se ve el fuego y el humo, se huele la
pólvora, pero, sobre todo, se siente la vibración que
recorre todo el cuerpo. No es sólo por la paella, por el sol
y la fiesta. Valencia tiene algo indescriptible que hace
que siempre tenga ganas de volver.

you with energy. The lake of the National Park of Al-
bufera is witness to one of the most unforgettable
sunsets ever. To sail awaywhile you allow the red and
golden shades embrace you is a privilege that every-
one should enjoy at least once in the lifetime.
During the trip, it is worth to take a day to visit
some of the close-by towns. Les covetes dels Moros
de Bocairent, the architectonic jewels of Segorbe and
theMonastery of Saint Mary in Simat de la Valldigna,
are mandatory stops. As a fashion lover, I could not
let the opportunity go of seeing the new trends that
the Valencian designers offer. They have a reserved
spot in the Eixample and the Barrio of Ruzafa, where
you can find exclusiveness and multiculturalism in
the creations shown in their Windows.
The Valencian expects with illusion the arrival of
their “Festivity in flames”. The Fallas are a show for
all the senses: you see the fire and the smoke, smell
the gunpowder, but, overall, you feel the thrill that
runs through your body. It is not only the Paella, the
sun and the feast. Valencia has something that can’t
be described thatmakes you always to come back.
