I
t's a complete classic, for its more than 50 years
of existence, and a great reference among diving
watches and lovers of such activity. It's about the
Submariner Date Rolesor, one of the most popular
Rolex models and that in this year came out with a
new generation.
No doubt the classics can be renewed since evolu-
tion carries on in the Rolex icons.
The Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date is a chrono-
meter certified by the Official Swiss Control of
Chronometers (COSC). The movement is given by the
Parachrom spiral, very resistant to collisions and to
magnetic fields, which guarantees its great chronome-
trical precision and its well-known reliability.
Among the adjustments that are found in this
new generation, the box stands out, which has been
equipped with the new revolving one-way yellow 18
caret gold bisel, with blue and black Cerachrom disc
(according to the model) and a guide system and a
non-return of 120 teeth.
This professional model is completely hermetic up
to 300 meters or even 1,000 feet deep.
The Triplock crown has 10 separated elements crea-
ted with the most trustable materials.
Its sphere has two presentations in black and blue,
and in both cases the Oyster bracelet with Glidelock
fastener was incorporated. Like it's custom in Rolex, in
the bisel there are the usual indications of the minutes
in yellow gold, whichmatches the teeth of the bisel and
with the central stripe of its bracelet.
Also like it's traditional, in both models the legibi-
lity excels for its big indexes and needles with the
luminescent material, something very practical and
fundamental for a diving piece.
Among other characteristics, its 3135 caliber with
Parachron and rotor Perpetual stands out, as well as its
mechanic automatic load motion and a reserve mark of
48 hours, 38 rubies, etc.
It includes the hours, minutes, seconds and
calendar functions.

s todo un clásico, por sus más de 50 años de
existencia, y una gran referencia entre los relo-
jes de buceo y los amantes de dicha actividad.
Se trata del Submariner Date Rolesor, uno de los
modelos más afamados de Rolex y que este año pre-
sentó a una nueva generación.
No cabe duda que los clásicos se pueden renovar
porque la evolución prosigue en los íconos de Rolex.
El Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date es un cro-
nómetro certificado por el Control Oficial Suizo de
Cronómetros (COSC). El movimiento está dotado con
el espiral Parachrom, muy resistente a los golpes y a
los campos magnéticos, lo que garantiza su gran pre-
cisión cronométrica y su remarcada fiabilidad.
Entre los ajustes que se observan en esta
nueva generación destaca su caja que ha sido
equipada con un nuevo bisel giratorio unidireccio-
nal de oro amarillo de 18 quilates, con disco
Cerachrom azul y negro (según el modelo), y siste-
ma de guía y antirretorno de 120 dientes.
Este modelo profesional es totalmente herméti-
co hasta los 300 metros o 1,000 pies de profundidad.
La corona Triplock consta de 10 elementos sepa-
rados elaborados con los materiales más confiables.
Su esfera tiene dos presentaciones en azul y negra,
y en ambos casos se incorporó el brazalete Oyster con
cierre Glidelock. Como es habitual en Rolex, en el bisel
están acopladas las indicaciones habituales de los
minutos en oro amarillo, que hace juego con los dien-
tes del bisel y con la franja central de su brazalete.
También como es tradicional, en ambos modelos
destaca la legibilidad por sus grandes índices y sus
agujas con material luminescente, algo muy práctico
y fundamental para una pieza de buceo.
Entre otras características, sobresale su calibre
3135 con espiral Parachron y rotor Perpetual, así como
su movimiento mecánico de carga automática y una
reserva de marca de 48 horas, 38 rubíes, entre otras.
Cuenta con las funciones de horas, minutos,
segundos y calendario.
