Cinco años más tarde se establecen dos plantas
cerca de Monza, con la producción de telas de lujo en
telares de Jacquard concentrados en Concorezzo, don-
de la compañía mantiene su sede hasta el día de hoy.
Para 1878 abre su primera tienda al público en la
vía Manzoni en Milán, en el edificio donde aún opera
hoy. Posteriormente, entre los años 1879 y 1881, la
compañía se transforma en E. Frette & C., con sede
en Monza, y se consolida como 100% italiana. Los
socios fundadores son Giuseppe Maggi, Carlo Anto-
nietti y Edmond Frette.
Gracias a la calidad en sus productos, Frette gana
pronto la primera de muchas medallas de oro en la Ex-
posición Nacional de Milán.
Desde 1886 inicia su venta fuera de Italia median-
te la creación de una colección de ropa para el hogar.
Posterior a esto, Frette se inicia como proveedor del
Hotel Royal Danieli en Venecia, y seguidamente del
Hotel Belle Venice y a otros establecimientos hote-
leros en años sucesivos. Estos incluyeron el Ritz de

In 1878 they inaugurate the first store opened to
thepublicatviaManzoniinMilan,inabuildingwhere
theystilloperatetoday.Afterwards,betweentheyears
1879 and 1881, the company becomes E. Frette & C.,
with headquarters in Monza and it is consolidate as
100% Italian. The partners and founders are Giuseppe
Maggi, Carlo Antonietti and Edmond Frette.
Thanks to the quality of their products, Frette
soon wins the first of many gold medals at the Na-
tional Exposition in Milan.
Since 1886 their sales outside of Italy begins
through the creation of a home clothing collec-
tion. After this, Frette starts as a supplier of the
Royal Danieli Hotel in Venice, followed by the Belle
Venice Hotel and other hotel establishments in
