Arte de Azerbaiyán

Inaugurado en 1920, se compone de 60 salas de ex-

posiciones donde se muestran obras de las artes plás-

ticas, incluyendo artesanías y decoración. Aunque su

tema central es la creación artística local, también ex-

hibe obras de creadores europeos y asiáticos. Las co-

lecciones abarcan desde el siglo XV hasta el siglo XXI.

Sus colecciones están conformadas por manuscritos

únicos de escritores; poetas; filósofos; científicos; be-

llas ilustraciones en miniatura; libros clásicos; ejem-

plares de revistas y periódicos, copias contemporá-

neas de los libros de autores de Azerbaiyán y papeles

auténticos en diversas lenguas europeas y orientales.

Founded in 1920, it is composed of 60 exhibit rooms

displayingnumerousworks of art, including antiques

and decorative items. Although its central themes

are artistic local creations, it also exhibits pieces from

European and Asian artists. The collection showcases

pieces dating fromthe 15th to the 21st century.

ful miniature illustrations; classical book; raremaga-

zine and newspapers; contemporary copies of books

by Azerbaijani authors, and authentic documents
