El Golf du Phare (Golf del Faro), dentro de la ciudad,
domina la hermosa playa y el faro; fue creado por la
colonia británica en 1888 y es un lugar de mucho encan-
to. Los otros campos son: Chiberta, La Nivelle,
Chantado, Souraïde, Hondarribia, Hossegor, Arcangues,
Seignosse, Moliets, Bassury.
Biarritz cuenta con un centro de entrenamiento inter-
nacional, único en Europa: el Centro de Entrenamiento
Internacional de Ibarritz. Está ubicado a la orilla del mar,
tiene una extensión de 26 hectáreas, un recorrido de 9
hoyos, y ofrece a los aficionados de ese deporte todas las

The Golf du Phare course, within the city limits,
dominates the beautiful beach and lighthouse. It was
created by the English community in 1888 and is a
charming place. The other courses are Chiberta, La
Nivelle, Chantado, Souraïde, Hondarribia, Hossegor,
Arcangues, Seignosse, Moliets and Bassury.
And now, Europe has a unique international
training center: the Ilbarritz International Golf
Training Centre in Biarritz, located at the edge of the
sea and with an area of 26 hectares (64 acres). The cen-
ter offers a video workshop, a 9 hole course and teach-
