Esta es una embarcación que abre la nueva
ca-
tegoría
crossover,
un concepto de barco para disfrutar un balance
del exterior y del interior, para mantener el contacto de estas áreas
gracias a sus vidrios de piso a techo en el
main deck
. Como lo explica
el presidente de San Lorenzo, Max Perotti: “es tener un superyacht
que te da la sensación de estar en un loft”. La mega plataforma en
la popa tiene la versatilidad de albergar un
tender
de más de 4 m;
un
wave runner
y un
jetski
. Además, al momento de estar anclado,
permite disfrutar de un excelente espacio junto al mar. Cuenta con
una sola timonería en el
flybridge
, el cual puede ser transformado
en un área cerrada con aire acondicionado fácilmente gracias a los
vidrios que suben como las ventanas de un coche. Puede ser per-
sonalizado con hasta cinco camarotes y ofrece muy bajo consumo
de combustible por su novedosa ingeniería. Alcanza una velocidad
tope de 23 nudos y está impulsado por tres motores Volvo IPS. Luca

, y pude constatar que en grado técnico, de confort
y de diseño, es un yate que demuestra su innovación. El San Loren-
zo SX 88’ hizo su debut triunfal en Cannes: cuando terminó el show,
ya estaban vendidos 11 cascos.

Without a doubt, the most innovative and disruptive pro-
posal was the
Sanlorenzo SX 88'
. This yacht introduces the new
"crossover" category, a boat concept designed to enjoy a perfect
balance between the exterior and the interiors, to preserve a
connection in these areas thanks to its floor-to-ceiling glass on
the main deck. As the president of San Lorenzo, Max Perotti, ex-
plains, “it is a superyacht that feels like an open loft.” The mega
platform in the stern has the versatility to house a 4m tender or
larger, a wave runner and a jetski. In addition, when anchored,
you can relax in the excellent area by the sea. It has a single wheel-
house on the flybridge, which can be easily transformed into an
enclosed space with air conditioning thanks to the glass panels
that slide up like car windows. It can be customized with up to
five cabins and has the advantage of very low fuel consumption
due to its innovative engineering. It reaches a top speed of 23
knots and is powered by three Volvo IPS engines. Luca Santella
(Design Development Manager of Sanlorenzo) came with me on
the sea trial, and I could see that, at a technical level, comfort
and design, it is a yacht that demonstrates innovation. The San
Lorenzo SX 88’ debuted triumphantly at Cannes, and by the time
the show came to an end, 11 hulls had already been sold.
