what we had come to film, the images that we
were capturingwere impressive, but oncemore,
it was time to return to the world of the land
dwellers.
Mario, Octavio and Alejandro planned to
visit to the lake of the jellyfish on Maratua
Island; such a magnificent experience being
able to swimwithout any protection at all, with
hundreds or maybe thousands of marine crea-
tures that are totally harmless to humans. We
learned that they move with the sun and have
lost their powers of defense because they have
no enemies in the lake.
So, little by little we approached the island
of Sulawesi, to visit Baliugut, Motuo, Bunaken
and Lambeh, all famous diving spots, because
on the bottoms there are known little giants,
creatures of shapes and colors so different for
we are used to, so to see them, we needed a
chivitas. Era lo que habíamos venido a filmar, las imá-
genes que estábamos captando eran impresionan-
tes, pero una vez más era tiempo de regresar al
mundo de los terrícolas.
Mario, Octavio y Alejandro planearon la visita al
lago de las aguamalas en la isla Maratua, qué expe-
riencia tan magnífica poder nadar sin protección
alguna, con cientos o quizá miles de estos seres
marinos que son totalmente inofensivos para el ser
humano. Aprendimos que se mueven junto con el sol
y que perdieron su poder de defensa pues en el lago
no tienen enemigos.
Así, poco a poco, nos fuimos acercando a la isla de
Sulawesi, para visitar Baliugut, Motuo, Bunaken y
Lambeh, famosos lugares de buceo, pues en sus fondo
existen los conocidos pequeños gigantes, criaturas de
formas y colores tan diferentes a los que estamos
acostumbrados a ver que se requiere la presencia de
un guía de la zona para que los pueda identificar. Los
