esde muy pequeño he sentido una gran pasión
por los encuentros cercanos con animales
peligrosos. Esta pasión me llevó por más de
diez años a enfrentar a cuerpo limpio, sin el uso de
alguna protección, a más de 600 toros bravos. Y fue
aquí, en mis años como forcado, donde he logrado
adquirir la serenidad y temple que hoy en día me
ayuda a estar cerca de los tiburones, en distancias
que me permiten lograr fotos únicas.
Comencé a bucear hace más de 15 años y hace
más de cuatro cuando comenzó mi afición a la
fotografía subacuática. Ahora, esta pasión me pone
un reto en mi vida, el fotografiar sin el uso de jaulas
a los que se les considera “los diez tiburones más
peligrosos del mundo”.
¿Por qué sin el uso de jaula?
Con esto quiero probar que los tiburones son
depredadores incomprendidos, a los que se les ha
etiquetado erróneamente con la marca de asesinos
sin serlo, ya que la mayoría de ataques que se regis-
tran a humanos son causados por confusión de iden-
tidad. Los tiburones al carecer de manos, usan sus
mandíbulas para ver y probar qué es lo que somos.

ince I was very young I've always felt a great
passion for close encounters with dangerous
animals. This passion has led me for more
than 10 years to face with only mi body, without
the use of any protection, more than 600 angry
bulls. And it was here, in my years as a FORCADO,
where I have manage to acquire the serenity and
calm that today helps me be near sharks, at dis-
tances that allow me to take unique photographs.
I began diving more than 15 years ago and
more than 4 years ago my love for sub aquatic pho-
tography began. Now, this passion places a chal-
lenge in my life, to photograph those who are
considered “the ten most dangerous sharks in the
world”, without the use of cages.
¿Why without the use of a cage?
With this I would like to prove that sharks are
misunderstood predators, which have been
labeled wrongly with the mark of killers without
being so, since most of the attacks that register
humans are caused by identity bewilderment.
Sharks, lacking hands, use their jaws to see and
find out what it is we are.
