is an artist who sat between Expressionism and
Cubism
. He was a master painter at the famous
BauhausSchool of Art, which tried to transformsocie-
ty through art by providing widespread access to an
effective and expressive art; understandable and at
the same time, liberating. The works are geometrical-
ly structured through a study of light and shade so
that each shape “lives its own life” in the final compo-
sition. It was all about substituting the composition
according to nature through the autonomous struc-
ture of the painting.
Surrealism
is the last wave of
avante garde
art
that affected not only the techniques and supports
but also the content andsubjectmatter of theworkof
art. Through automatic writing and drawing, the art
formtried to show the other worlds in this world; the
unconscious world recently discovered by Sigmund
Freud, the hidden sexual driving forces, the value of
dreams:
Dreams, dreams, the dominion of dreams
extends to every step
(Aragón, 1923). Salvador Dali
(1904-1989) isaperfect representativeof this spiritu-
al search that went beyond the apparent and show-
ing amuch broader reality.
Technically, every work of art comes into being
in the same way as the cosmos - by means of catas-
trophes, which ultimately create out of the
cacophony of the various instruments that sym-
phony we call the music of the spheres. The cre-
ation of the work of art is the creation of the world.

maestro de pintura de la famosa escuela de arte
Bauhaus que pretendía transformar mediante el arte a
la sociedad, haciendo acceder a las mayorías a un arte
eficaz y expresivo, comprensible a la vez que liberali-
zador. Las obras se estructuran geométricamente,
mediante un estudio de luces y sombras para que en
la composición final cada forma “viva su propia vida”.
Se trataba de sustituir la composición según la natu-
raleza por la estructura autónoma del cuadro.
El
Surrealismo
es la última oleada del arte de
vanguardia que afectaba no tanto las técnicas y
soportes como los contenidos y temas de la obra de
arte. Mediante la escritura y el dibujo automático
se buscaba mostrar esos otros mundos que están
en éste, el mundo del inconsciente recién descu-
bierto por Sigmund Freud, las pulsiones sexuales
ocultas, el valor de lo onírico:
Sueños, sueños, el
dominio de los sueños se extiende a cada paso
(Aragón, 1923). Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) es un
perfecto representante de esa búsqueda espiritual
que iba más allá de lo aparente, mostrando una
realidad mucho más amplia.
Técnicamente, toda obra surge tal como surgió el
cosmos: a través de catástrofes que del caótico
mugir de los instrumentos terminan por hacer una
sinfonía, que recibe el nombre de música de las esfe-
ras. Crear una obra es crear un mundo.
