La compensación de los movimientos de inclinación
lateral mediante barras estabilizadoras reguladas electró-
nicamente, estabiliza el auto al trazar curvas a gran velo-
cidad o cuando es necesario cambiar de carril repentina-
mente. Otra opción consiste en el chasis deportivo M con
suspensiónmás baja.
La dirección integral activa (opcional) regula la
asistencia de la dirección y el ángulo de giro de las
ruedas delanteras en función de la velocidad y, ade-
más, también regula el ángulo de giro de las ruedas
traseras. Este sistema consigue aumentar la agilidad
del vehículo en situaciones de conducción muy di-
námica y, a la vez, logra que las reacciones sean más
confortables y seguras al cambiar repentinamente de
carril o al trazar curvas. Además, así también aumen-
ta la maniobrabilidad al trazar curvas muy cerradas o
al conducir por la ciudad. La avanzada tecnología del
chasis logra que cualquiera de los modelos de la Serie
5 de BMW disponga de un óptimo equilibrio entre di-
namismo y confort, sin igual en el segmento.
El diseño: modificaciones específicas acentúan el
carácter deportivo
En cuanto a diseño, el BMW Serie 5 Sedán acentúa su
deportividadmedianteunmarcoperfiladodelaparrillaovoi-
dedobleynuevasentradasinferioresdeaire.Lapartetrase-
ra se realza por medio de un pliegue en la facia y molduras
luminosas más estrechas y perfiladas, enmarcan las luces
posterioresy los rinesdealeación ligerade18pulgadas.
En el BMW Serie 5 Gran Turismo, la facia delantera
fue modificada para subrayar el aplomo y solidez de
auto. Con el nuevo diseño de la parte posterior se le con-
cedió un aspecto más largo y bajo, que aunado a las su-
perficies tridimensionales en el soporte de la matrícula,
junto con la moldura cromada que ahora se encuentra
en la facia, y los rines de aleación ligera de 19 pulgadas
confirman el aspecto dinámico del vehículo. Cabe men-
cionar que la reconfiguración de la parte posterior del
nuevo BMW Serie 5 Gran Turismo permitió aumentar la
capacidad de la cajuela de 440 a 500 litros.
En todos los modelos, las luces intermitentes latera-
les se integraron a los espejos retrovisores e incluyen de
serie, faros de xenón o bien, se puede optar por faros LED
de orientación automática, antiniebla o diodos luminosos.

The design: specific modifications accentuate
the sportive
In terms of design, the BMW 5 Series Sedan ac-
centuates her play by profiling its framework
grille and new lower air entries. The rear is en-
hanced by a fold in the facia and its narrower
bright moldings are profiled, frame rear lights
and alloy 18 inch wheels.
For the BMW5 Series Gran Turismo, the front fa-
cia was modified to emphasize poise and strength
of self. With the new design a more long and low
rear has been granted, which combined with its
three-dimensional surfaces of support, along with
the chrome strip that is now in the front, and light
alloy wheels of 19 inches, confirm the dynamic
look of the vehicle. It is noteworthy that the recon-
figuration of the rear of the new BMW 5 Series Gran
Turismo allowed increasing the trunk capacity
which is now of 440-500 liters.
In all models, the side indicator lights are integrat-
ed into the rear viewmirrors and include serial, xenon
headlightsoryoucanoptforautomaticorientationLED
headlights, lamps or LEDs.
