Gracias a la combinación de sistemas de asisten-
cia al conductor y de servicios de movilidad junto con
el BMW ConnectedDrive, la nueva gama del Serie 5 de
BMWofrece innovadoras soluciones para acrecentar el
placer de conducir.
Entre las funciones a destacar están la pantalla vir-
tual BMWHead-Up-Display a todo color, con la que ahora
también pueden proyectarse sobre el parabrisas la lista
de contactos telefónicos y diversas listas de programas
de entretenimiento, así como la función de advertencia
de abandono involuntario del carril.
El nuevo sistema de activación de las luces altas
sin deslumbrar al conductor que viene en sentido
contrario y el sistema BMW Night Vision con Dynamic
Light Spot y con detección de personas y animales, au-
mentan la seguridad al conducir de noche. Una cámara
frontal, integrada en la carcasa del espejo retrovisor
interior, detecta los automóviles que circulan por de-
lante, en el mismo sentido, hasta una distancia de 400
metros y a los que circulan en sentido contrario, son
detectados hasta una distancia de 1000 metros.
También en el sistema de visión nocturna BMWNight
Vision se agregan nuevas funciones, así el conductor re-
cibe una advertencia en el tablero, si la cámara detecta
sujetos que se encuentren en la trayectoria. A su vez, el
Dynamic Light Spot dirige un haz de luz hacia las perso-
nas o animales detectados para completar el aviso.

tance systems and mobility services with BMW
ConnectedDrive, the new range of BMW 5 Series
offers innovative solutions to enhance driving
pleasure.
Among these features are: the screen to high-
light BMW, Display full color, which can now be
projected on the windshield, the telephone, con-
tact lists and various entertainment programs,
as well as a departure warning function.
This new system activates high beams from
the lights without blinding the driver, as well
as BMW Night Vision system with Dynamic
Light Spot and detection of people and animals
increase safety when driving at night. A front
camera built in the interior mirror is used to
detect cars that drive ahead in the same direc-
tion, for a distance of 400 meters; if moving
in the opposite direction cars can be detected
within1000 meters.
Also, when regarding the vision system BMW
Night Vision adds new features; the driver receives
a warning on the board, if the camera detects sub-
jects who are in the path. In turn, the Dynamic Light
Spot light beam directed toward people or animals
will identify it for complete the notice.
