Viajó a Paris donde continuo su formación
como bailarina y en 1905 se presento oficialmente
como Mata-Hari, bailarina exótica que ejecutaba
las sagradas danzas indias del “Devandasisher” y
el “Kandaswam” .
Se dió a conocer como la hija de Bramhin, un
sacerdote budista y adopto su nombre hindu,
mientras fomentaba su propia leyenda narrando
de diferente forma su vida, creando así una red de
rumores y fantasías.
Viajó por toda Europa relatando como nació en
un templo sagrado hindú donde le fueron reveladas
desde niña las sagradas danzas de su pueblo.
Mata-Hari se labró una vida fácil como bailarina
y viajó por las principales capitales europeas, París,
Madrid, Berlín, Monte Carlo y Viena, entre otras.
Tuvo numerosos amantes y protectores, ricos
y poderosos como el Mayor Arnold Van Kalle, Jefe
Militar Alemán, Adolphe Pierre Messimy, ministro
de Guerra Francés, Alred Kiepert, terrateniente
alemán, el compositor Giacomo Puccini, El Barón
Henri de Rothschild y muchos más.
Durante los primeros años del siglo xx, Mata-
Hari bailó en numerosos refugios de soldados
y políticos.
Tuvo la mala fortuna de estar actuando en
Berlín, cuando estalló la guerra del 14, era la amante
del jefe de la policía de la ciudad, mas tarde lo sería
del Consul alemán Kraemer, quien también era jefe del
espionaje alemán.
El Consul Kraemer la persuade a sonsacar in-
formación a la milicia francesa a cambio de jugosas
ganancias. Mata-Hari acepta y se convierte en la
agente H21. Sin embargo, ella era ambiciosa y se
convierte en doble agente.

her training as a dancer and in 1905 was pre-
sented officially as Mata Hari, exotic dancer who

and “Kandaswam”.
She became known as the daughter of Bram-
hin, a Buddhist priest and adopted his Hindu
name, promoting her own legend while narrat-
ing her life differently, thus creating a network
of rumors and fantasies.
She traveled around Europe saying she was born
in a sacredHindu templewhere she had been revealed
since her childhood the sacred dances of her people.

and traveled to the main European capitals, Paris, Ma-

She had numerous lovers and protectors, rich
and powerful such as Major Arnold Van Kalle,
German Military Chief, Adolphe Pierre Messimy,
French Minister of War, Alred Kiepert, German
landowner, the composer Giacomo Puccini, Baron
Henri de Rothschild and many more.
During the early years of the twentieth centu-
ry, Mata Hari danced in numerous army events and
political affairs.
She had the misfortune to be acting in Berlin
when World War II broke, at the moment; she was
the mistress of the chief of police of the city; only
to leave him for the German Consul Kraemer, who
was also a Chief of the German espionage.
Consul Kraemer persuades her to extract in-
formation from the French militia in exchange
for huge profits. Mata Hari accepts and becomes
agent H21, but she was ambitious and in short
time became a double agent.
