Palacete-Hotel Laredo, actualmente Museo Cisneria-
no, donde admiramos una edición original de la Biblia
Complutense, La biblia de Amberes. La ciudad luce
sus elegantes edificios y jardines como los restos de
la antigua ciudad romana Complutum y de la ciudad
árabe como la muralla.
Visitamos la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asun-
ción que domina la plaza, mezcla de estilos gótico,
plateresco, renacentista y barroco que alberga un es-
tupendo retablo que luce en su centro el cuadro de la
Asunción de la Virgen pintado por Francisco Goya en
1812. Descubrimos la alzada Torre del Reloj, el casti-
llo de los Condes, el convento de las Clarisas con su
claustro de dos pisos, la ermita de San Antón, y la ba-
rroca ermita de San Roque.
Finalmente llegamos a tiempo para visitar el pala-
cio de Aranjuez, en ese encantador pueblo atravesado
por los ríos Tajo y Jarama. En su interior descubrimos
sus hermosos salones e impresionante colección de
pinturas, y nos sedujeron especialmente la Sala China
con su decorado exótico, el Gabinete de Porcelana y la
Sala de los Espejos. La colección de vestidos de reinas
es hermosa así como la colección de carruajes.
A la hora de cenar nos instalamos en el famoso res-
taurante El Rana Verde, el más famoso de toda la co-
marca.Ya entrando la noche nos regresamos a Madrid
para dar una vuelta por los bares y tomar las últimas
copas: La boca del Lobo; Cardamomo; Cock; Aeria Chill
Out con su decorado Chillout-arabic y una música muy
agradable; Honky Tonk Café con su ambiente relajante;
El Confidencial que es un antiguo palacete renovado en
bar glamoroso, y terminamos en El Plaza Jazz Club.

of Antezana, the Mansion- Hotel Laredo, currently
Cisneriana Museum, where we admire an original
edition of the Complutense Bible, The Bible of Ant-
werp. The village has its elegant buildings and gar-
dens as the remains of the ancient Roman city and
the city Complutum Arabic as the wall.
We visited the Church of Our Lady of the As-
sumption that dominates the square, a mixture of
Gothic, plateresque, Renaissance and Baroque altar-
piece which houses a great shining in its center the
picture of the Assumption of the Virgin painted by
Francisco Goya in 1812. We found the height Clock
Tower, the castle of the Counts, the convent of Poor
Clares cloister with two floors, the chapel of San An-
ton, and the baroque church of San Roque.
Finally we arrived in time to visit the palace of
Aranjuez, this charming town crossed by the Tagus
and Jarama rivers. Inside we discovered its beauti-
ful rooms and impressive collection of paintings,
and especially seduced us with the exotic décor of
the Chinese Room, the Porcelain Cabinet and the
Hall of Mirrors. The collection of dresses of queens
is beautiful as well as the collection of carriages.
Later we settled to dinner at the famous restau-
rant The Green Frog, the most famous of the shire.
Early evening we returned to Madrid to take a walk
around the bars and take the last glasses: Mouth of
the Wolf, Cardamom Cock, Aeria Chill Out Chillout-
decorated with arabic and a very nice music, Honky
Tonk Café with its relaxing atmosphere, The Confi-
dential is an old mansion renovated in A glamorous
bar, and we ended up at The Plaza Jazz Club.
