famosos de Madrid, Ramón Freixa Madrid, para degus-
tar la cocina vanguardista de ese chef catalán.
Con el cuerpo lleno de los sabores y olores de esa
fastuosa cocina, entramos al museo Reina Sofía por el
edificio Nouvel para descubrir un gran espacio dedica-
do al arte contemporáneo: obras de Dali, Miró, Picasso,
Oskar Schelemmer, Juan Gris y la exposición temporal
de Maja Bajevic con su revisión poética de las fracturas
sociales e históricas.
Después nos fuimos al Santceloni para degustar
la galardonada cocina del chef Óscar Velasco que se
apega al legado de Santi Santamaría que creó el res-
taurante Can Fabes y escribió varios libros.
Para terminar la noche y conocer el ambiente de
festejo de la ciudad, nos fuimos al Kapital, la conocida
discoteca de siete plantas con diversos tipos de músi-
ca y un ambiente fabuloso.
4ta noche
Tomamos un coche muy temprano en la mañana y
nos dirigimos a Alcalá de Henares, a 31 km de Ma-
drid, famosa por su universidad, que visitamos al lle-
gar con sus hermosos patios y sus salones, especial-
mente en el cual se entregan cada año los premios
Cervantes. La gótica iglesia Magistral nos sorprendió
por su belleza y elegancia. Descubrimos la casa natal
de Miguel de Cervantes que data del siglo XVI, típica
casa española del Siglo de Oro, el Corral de Comedias
de Alcalá (uno de los teatros más antiguos de Euro-
pa construido en 1601), el Hospital de Antezana, el

With a body full of the tastes and smells of
this magnificent kitchen, we entered to the
Reina Sofia museum through the Nouvel build-
ing to discover a large space dedicated to con-
temporary art: works by Dali, Miro, Picasso, Oskar
Schelemmer, Juan Gris and temporary exhibition
Maja Bajevic with poetic review of historical and
social fractures.
Then we went to Santceloni to taste the
award-winning cuisine of Chef Óscar Velasco that
adheres to the legacy of Santi Santamaría, who
created the restaurant Can Fabes and wrote sev-
eral books.
To end the night and experience the beauty of
the city celebration, we went to Kapital, the famous
seven-story nightclub with various types of music
and a fabulous atmosphere.
4th night
We took a drive early in the morning and headed
to Alcala de Henares, 31 km from Madrid, famous
for its university that we visited upon arriving,
flaunting its beautiful patios and halls, especially
the room where the Cervantes awards are pre-
sented annually. The Gothic Magistral church sur-
prised us with its beauty and elegance. We found
the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, from the
XVI century, a typical Spanish house of the Golden
Age, the Comedy Corral de Alcalá (one of the old-
