emovox Tribute to Deep Sea es más que
un reloj de buceo. Para Jaeger-LeCoulture
ha sido fundamental que sus complicacio-
nes vayan más allá de lo convencional y ésta no es la
excepción. En su línea de tributo a las leyendas de la
relojería, recrea este modelo original de 1959. Aquel
se caracterizó por presentar variantes para los depor-
tistas del viejo y nuevo mundos y Jaeger-LeCoulture
relanza ambos en edición limitada: 959 ejemplares
para Europa y 359 para América. La variante del ori-
ginal reside en que la caja de acero inoxidable con
motivos del reloj de antaño ha pasado de 39.8, a 40.5
mm. El modelo europeo ofrece una esfera negra mate
realzada con índices luminiscentes, mientras que el
americano se caracteriza por una ejecución bicolor ne-
gra/gris, circundada por un aro externo que lleva una
escala graduada de cinco minutos, la que además luce
la firma “LeCoulture”. Las dos versiones presentan ho-
ras, minutos, segundero central y alarma, corona a las
4 h, Calibre Memovox 965, movimiento automático,
descendiente del primer Calibre Memovox de cuer-
da manual con 28,800 alternancias/h, 23 rubíes, 268
componentes, reserva de marcha de 45 h y hasta 10
bares de hermeticidad.

emovox Tribute to Deep Sea is more than
just a diver’s watch. For Jaeger-LeCoulture
has been fundamental that complica-
tions went beyond the conventional and this is no
exception. In his line of tribute to the legends of
the watchmaking, this model recreates the 1959
original. This was characterized by variations for
the athletes of the old and new World, and Jaeger-
LeCoulture relaunches both in a limited edition: the
959 issue for Europe and the 359 for America. The
difference from the original resides in the stain-
less steel motif box of the old clock has gone from
39.8 to 40.5 mm. The European model provides an
matte black sphere enhanced with luminescent
indexes, while the U.S. version is characterized by
an execution bicolor black / gray, surrounded by an
outer ring that has a scale of five minutes, which
also sports the signature “LeCoulture”. The two ver-
sions have hours, minutes, central second hand
and alarm, crown at 4 o’clock, Memovox Caliber 965,
automatic movement, descendant of the first hand-
woundMemovox Caliberwith28.800 alternations / h,
23 jewels, 268 components, power reserve 45 h and
up to 10 tightness bars.
