L
a Costa Alegre de Jalisco dio la bienvenida una
vez más en Semana Santa a uno de los torneos
de polo más importantes del país, en las can-
chas más hermosas de este deporte en México. Y
claro, además del juego se vivió una semana plena de
sol, mar y fiesta increíble.
1er. Chukker
Si veinte años no es nada, ocho son apenas un suspiro.
Sin embargo, en esa bocanada de aire caben muchas
historias, y una de ellas, la de la Copa Agua Alta, acaba
de escribir otro capítulo más con letras de sol, arena y
mar. Cómo ha cambiado este torneo de polo desde su
creación, pues de ser una competencia prácticamente
de carácter familiar ahora se ha convertido en un refe-
rente del polo mexicano e internacional. Hoy, este
campeonato del deporte de la realeza tiene un cúmulo

and one of them, the Agua Alta Cup, has just writ-
ten another chapter with letters of sun, sand and
sea. How this tournament has changed since its
creation, since from being practically a family
affair, it is become the reference mark for
Mexican and international polo. Today, this
