Golfo Pérsico y Mar Arábigo
Estas cálidas aguas constituyen uno de los santua-
rios marinos más grandes del mundo. Visto desde
la costa rocosa escarpada y áspera del Pérsico se
aprecian brillantes peces murciélago, además de
contemplar los magníficos jardines subacuáticos
colgantes.
Mar Rojo
Llamado a menudo el “bosque húmedo del mar”, es
el hogar de una gran variedad de corales duros y
blandos, debido a sus aguas templadas y alto con-
tenido de sal. El hábitat de arrecifes de coral ofrece
atisbos de una gran variedad de vida marina en uno
de los ecosistemas más hermosos del orbe.
Igualmente, la belleza del mundomarino en uno
de los más modernos estanques del mundo, cuyo
panel de visualización mide aproximadamente 35
metros de ancho por nueve de altura. El acuario no
sólo ofrece un despliegue impresionante de hábi-
tats, sino también de información y de programas
de conservación de las especies que en él habitan.
La interacción del público con los animales plantea
una estrategia para apoyar la educación de las comuni-
dades locales. Dentro de las instalaciones del acuario se
encuentra el “Ocean Restaurant”, con amplios paneles
de observación al mágico mundo marino, donde la co-
cina californiana contemporánea, junto a una variada
seleccióndevinos, espera a sus visitantes.
Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea
The warmwaters of the Arabian Sea and the Persian
Gulf constitute one of the world’s largest marine
sanctuaries. Seen from the steep and rough rocky
Persian coast, we can appreciate the bright fish bat
and also contemplate the great underwater hang-
ing gardens.
Red Sea
Often called the “Rainforest of the sea”, this sea is
home to a wide variety of hard and soft corals be-
cause of its warmwaters and high salt content. Cor-
al reef habitat offers glimpses of a huge variety of
marine life in one of the most beautiful ecosystems
in the world.
In addition to the beauty of the underwater
world in one of the newer ponds in the world, whose
display panel measures approximately 35 meters
wide by nine of height. Besides, the Aquarium not
only offers an impressive display of habitats, but
also information and programs for the conserva-
tion of the species living on it.
The interaction of the public with animals
poses a strategy to support the education of local
communities. Within the premises of the Aquari-
um “Ocean Restaurant” is located with large panels
display the magical marine world, where the con-
temporary California cuisine, with a varied selec-
tion of wines, awaits its visitors.
