Las cavernas de hielo de Eisriesenwelt, que fueron descubiertas durante el Siglo XIX, están situadas a 1,600 m de altura. Han sido descritas como las

más grandes del mundo, y se componen por un inmenso laberinto de 40 m de longitud que acoge varias cuevas cubiertas por el hielo formado durante

miles de años. Este sitio recibe anualmente la visita de alrededor de 200,000 turistas, aunque solo abren desde mayo a mediados de octubre, ya que

durante la temporada de invierno permanecen cerradas debido al crudo clima que azota la zona.

The Eisriesenwelt ice caves, discovered in the 19th

century, are located 1,600m above sea level. They have been described as the largest in the world, and are comprised by a giant 40m long maze

that spans several caves covered in ice formed throughout thousands of years. This site welcomes around 200,000 tourists annually, although

visits are only available fromMay to mid-October because they remain closed during winter due to the extreme weather that affects this region.

During blooming season, which takes place between July and August, different

routes within the region of Provence, in France, will take you through a sea of violet, painted by millions of lavender flowers emanating

their exquisite fragrance. Some of the essential locations in this route are: the Luberon Natural Park, la Drôme Provenzal, and the whole

area that surrounds Mont Ventoux. You will also enjoy the local cultural heritage and cities like Avignon, Orange, Arles or Aix.
