Actualmente, Calatrava tiene su propia firma in-
ternacional de arquitectura e ingeniería en Zúrich y su
inventario de obras es tan extenso como los recono-
cimientos que ha recibido, pero bien vale el momento
para señalar algunas de las más emblemáticas, como el
Turning Torso, rascacielos residencial que con sus 190 m
de altura y 54 pisos, es el más alto de Suecia, en la ciu-
dad sueca de Malmö. Fue inaugurado el 27 de agosto de
2005, después de cuatro años de construcción; recibió
el Premio MIPIM en la feria de la construcción de Can-
nes de 2005, y el auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín,
sede de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, en la avenida
de la Constitución en Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Actually, Calatrava has its own Architecture
and Engineering International firm in Zurich and
its inventory of Works is as large as the awards he
has received. It is worth mentioning some of the
most emblematic, such as the Turning Torso, a resi-
dential skyscraper in Malmö, which, with its 190
m in height and 54 floors, is the tallest in Sweden.
Opened on August 27th, 2005, after 4 years of con-
struction, it received the MIPIM award in the 2005
Construction Trade Fair of Cannes, and the Adán
Martín Auditorium of Tenerife, house of the Sym-
phonic Orchestra of Tenerife, on Constitution Avenue
in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
