the blueness of the sea invites you to take a dip. At
the bottom, we become absorbed by the amount of
coral formations to be found there, sinuous marine
landscapes with the coral, a living and sensitive
being, which proliferates in a variety of forms that
challenge the imagination, which grow among the
labyrinth-like spaces, forming narrow tunnels or
wide passages that boast a wide variety of coral
species.
We were able to recognize the stylized moose-
horn coral, the arrogant staghorn horn, the intri-
cate brain corals, the small ‘galleta’ corals, the
enormous pillar corals and others that look like
waterfalls. All of them are perfect for the sightly
lightfishes to attach themselves, which like the
worms, known as “Christmas trees” embellish the
sea bed with their kaleidoscopic colors and soft
movement.
The crinolines of the sea raise their arms toward
the ray of sunshine increasing the beauty of the
panorama. Thewonderfulmarine beings of different
colors and sized, known as “anemones”, are com-
pletely sedentary and use their long arms, which
contain limpets, to catch their prey.

de la cantidad de formaciones coralíferas que ahí se
encuentran, sinuosos paisajes marinos donde el coral,
ser vivo y sensible, prolifera en una variedad de formas
desafiantes a la imaginación, que crecen entre los labe-
rínticos espacios, formando túneles de estrechos o
anchos pasillos que presumen gran variedad de corales.
Pudimos reconocer a los estilizados corales cuer-
no de alce, a los arrogantes cuerno de venado, a los
intrincados corales cerebro, a los pequeños corales
de galleta, a los enormes corales pilares, y otros que
semejan cascadas. Todos sirven para que se fijen los
vistosos plumeros, que al igual que los gusanos
conocidos como árboles de navidad, embellecen el
fondo marino con sus caleidoscópicos colores y su
suave movimiento.
Las crinolinas del mar alzan sus brazos hacia los
rayos del sol acrecentando la belleza del paisaje.
Los maravillosos seres marinos, de diferentes colo-
res y tamaños, que son las anémonas, son totalmen-
te sedentarias, y utilizan sus largos brazos, que
contienen ventosas, para atrapar a sus presas.
Conviviendo entre estos corales, tanto blandos
como duros, habitan las esponjas, saludables animales
