para descargar el tanque de sólidos de las embarcaciones.
La buena vida
Las aguas de la bahía, resguardadas por Isla Mujeres, son
tranquilas y perfectas para el surf, el buceo, la pesca, el
snorkel y la navegación de vela. Las regatas locales son
de abril a junio. Enmayo, en particular, llega la famosa re-
gata “De Sol a Sol”, proveniente de Estados Unidos.
En todos lados se pueden rentar motos acuáticas,
veleros y kayaks, que le permitirán disfrutar de las olas
o de un paseo por la laguna y los canales que se abren
paso entre los bosques de mangle.
A lo largo de la costa y tierra adentro pueden reali-
zarse buceo recreativo, en todos los niveles, diurnos,
nocturnos, libre, caminatas submarinas, autónomo (con
tanques) en cavernas y cenotes, así como snorkel en es-

sailboats and kayaks allowing visitors to enjoy the
waves or a ride on the lagoon and the canals that wind
through the mangrove.
