• Visitar el pueblo de Nauta es imprescindible. El po-
blado entero ostenta ese aire rústico que cautiva.
La plaza de armas de la ciudad, la iglesia, el busto
en honor a Manuel Pacaya y el mercado popular son
puntos de Nauta que deben visitarse. Un aspecto
atractivo del pueblo es su encantadora calma rural.
• Durante la travesía en el río Yanayacu, se puede ad-
mirar el espectáculo multicolor de la vegetación sin
fin y el cielo azul. La fama que tiene el color del agua
que cruza por el río le ha investido con el nombre
de “la jungla de los espejos de agua”. También se
encuentran parvadas de loros, guacamayas y
garcetas, así también el famoso delfín rosa.
• En Laguna Caro se pueden observar pirañas, arowanas
y pavón, que no solamente estarán nadando alre-
dedor de la embarcación de transporte, sino que se
puede pescarlos y solicitar a los lugareños que co-
cinen el botín del día con el estilo único de la región.
• La fauna de aves que existe en el lugar es digna de

región están el chimachima, el cóndor real, el águila
colorada y el águila harpía.
