araíso, la nueva colección del reconocido pintor
mexicano, Alejandro Gómez Oropeza, que se
estrenará el próximo 29 de septiembre en el
Hotel Camino Real Polanco. Esta exposición es un
pedacito de paz, tal y como lo describe el artista:
“Paraíso, Mí paraíso es una interpretación onírica de
la naturaleza que a través de los tonos de la luz, hojas,
sombras, planos, transparencias, movimientos, te
llenan de energía positiva, alegría y calma”.
Con la fuerza y pasión que se reflejan en sus trazos,
su obra reciente marca el inicio de una etapa de madurez
artística; el manejo del azul, el verde y el rojo en una
composición orgánica, reflejan vida en movimiento,
pero no de una forma caótica, sino aquél movimiento
que conocemos en la realidad, un movimiento discreto,
fluido y sensual.

aradise, the new collection by the renowned
Mexican painter, Alejandro Gomez Oropeza,
which opens thus coming 28th of Septem-
ber at the Camino Real Hotel in Polanco, is a slice of
peace, such as the artist describes it: “Paradise, my
paradise, is a dreamlike interpretation of a nature
that, through tones of light, leafs, shadows, planes,
transparencies, and movements, fill one with posi-
tive energy, joy, and calmness.”
With the force and passion that characterize his
strokes, the new collection marks the beginning of
mature artistic phase, the handling of blue, green,
and red colors an organic composition reflect life in
movement, yet not in a chaotic manner, but in that
sway which we see in reality, a discreet, fluid and
sensual movement.
Para el artista un verde puede ser siete verdes,
pues ha aprendido a observar la realidad y tomar
de ella los elementos necesarios para construir su
paraíso. Con esta muestra, Gómez Oropeza celebra
20 años como artista plástico, su estilo es único e
identificable.
La posibilidad de encontrar en las obras de Gómez
Oropeza un espacio de calma, nos hace entender
que el mayor placer y disfrute de las cosas se tienen
en la vida... “No necesitas morir para poder sentir
el paraíso, el paraíso es la vida. La vida es tangible,
es presente, de todo lo demàs despuès de la vida no
sabemos nada, es un enigma, una ilusiòn, un gran
deseo” dice el artista.

unique hues, for he has learned to observe reality
and take from it the elements necessary to con-
struct a paradise. With this show, Gómez Oropeza
celebrates 20 years as a plastic artist with a unique
and define style.
The possibility of finding a peaceful space
in the works of Gómez Oropeza makes us under-
stand that the greatest pleasure and enjoyment
is found in life… “One does not need to die to feel
paradise, the paradise of life. Life is tangible, is
present, we don´
t know anything about the life af-

greatest desire” says the artist.
