eneral Motors de México se alista para dar una
fuerte batalla por el liderazgo en el segmento
de los Crossovers medianos a través de su to-
talmente nuevo Cadillac SRX 2010, un sport utility que
hace gala no sólo de una imagen vanguardista e impo-
nente, sino de un mejorado chasis y un nuevo motor V6
de gran potencia y bajo consumo de combustible.
El frente está en sintonía con los actuales modelos
de Cadillac, dominado por una enorme parrilla cromada
en forma de punta flecha, faros de xenón adaptati-
vos con tecnología LED, en versiones anteriores un
cofre mucho más afilado que en el que se integra la
nueva defensa envolvente que incorpora una amplia
toma de refrigeración y dos pequeños, pero poten-
tes faros de niebla.
Otros de los detalles sobresalientes son los asien-
tos en piel. El sistema de sonido incluye un radio con
reproductor para seis CDs, DVD, MP3 y USB; entrada
auxiliar para iPod® que se sincroniza y controla desde
el sistema de sonido y 10 bocinas con Surround Sound
5.1 de Bose. Su disco duro de 40 GB le permite guardar
todo tipo de información.

Amulti-piece shieldgrille andCadillac’s iconic verti-
calheadlamps–withlightpipetechnologyandavailable
adaptive forward lighting – are the face of the SRX. They
blend into a tightlywrapped, sweeping body that tapers
downward at the rear, giving the vehicle a sporty profile.
Xenon LED headlights provide excellent illumination,
whichare aidedby two small, yet powerful, fog lights.
The leather front seats of the SRX are shaped in
the form of a cube for greater comfort. The audio
system consists of ten top-of-the-line Surround
Sound5.1Bose speakers, radio, and internal space for
six CD’s and/or DVD’s, as well as MP3 and USB docks.
It also compatiblewith iPod systems, and its internal
40 GB hard drive can store an almost unprecedented
amount of information.
