ANTECEDENTES
La República de Kenia, en la parte oriental de Áfri-
ca, representa uno de los destinos más interesantes y
sugestivos en todo el continente africano, lleno de re-
cursos naturales, culturas, pueblos, etnias, religiones,
lenguas, entre otros elementos, que lo construyen y
delinean con ejemplar singularidad.
Se dice que en África se encuentran los primeros ves-
tigios del origen del ser humano, de acuerdo con lo que
sostienenmúltiples teoríasquepor ahoranoes importan-
te abordar, por lo que lo convierte en un destino obligado
de todo individuo que alguna vez desee al menos pregun-
tarse su propio origen. El territorio que hoy ocupa Kenia,
desde el Paleolítico Inferior ha sido hogar del hombre.
África como cuna de la humanidad, posee algunos
de los vestigios humanos más antiguos, localizados en
la parte oriental, particularmente en la gran fosa tectó-
nica del Valle del Rift. A través de utensilios, pinturas y
dibujos en cuevas, se pone de manifiesto que la utiliza-
ción de herramientas de piedra en la región y el planeta-
data de cerca de 40 mil años.
BACKGROUND
The Republic of Kenya is part of Africa’s orient, it
represents one of the most interesting and sugges-
tive destinations of the entire African continent, filled
with natural resources, cultures, villages, ethnics, reli-
gions, languages, amongst other elements, that build
and outline its uniqueness.
It is said, the first traces of human origin are
found in Africa, according to what several theories
hold for now, we shall approach the subject later. It
is an obliged destination of all individuals who ask
about their beginnings and foundations. The ter-
ritory occupied today by Kenya, since the inferior
Paleolithic era has been home for human kind
Africa, as crib of the human race, possesses
some of the most ancient remains which are lo-
cated on the oriental sector, particularly on the
great tectonic gap of the Rift Valley. Through uten-
sils, paintings and art found in caves, a manifest is
given; the use of stone tools in the region is of 40
thousand year of age.
