A convertible without limits
T
he M6 Convertible conjugates the sporting
edge over the BMW M series with the com-
fort and elegance of a high-end saloon. The
side skirts give it a very dynamic look, as well as its
exclusive 19 inch wheels shod with very impres-
sive tires. It boasts a chrome front grille divided
into two aggressive optical groups, while the rear
end boasts accentuated rear skirts and four
chromed exhaust pipes.
Its main identifying characteristic is its three-
layer hood: a waterproof exterior layer, an embel-
lished interior layer and a polyurethane-foam
acoustically and thermally insulated layer. The
rear trunk can be opened and closed independent-
ly from the action of the hood, either by remote-
control or by pushing a button underneath the
instrument panel.
The cabin offers a state-of-the-art design
using materials and finishes of unbeatable quali-

cia de un cómodo sedán de gama alta. Así, los mar-
cados faldones laterales le confieren un aspecto muy
dinámico, así como sus impresionantes neumáticos con
exclusivos rines de 19 pulgadas. Cuenta con una parrilla
frontal cromada dividida en dos y agresivos grupos ópti-
cos, mientras que la parte trasera presenta un acentuado
faldón aerodinámico y cuatro salidas de escape cromadas.
Pero su principal seña de identidad es su capota de
tres capas: una exterior impermeable, un guarnecido
interior y una capa de aislamiento acústico y térmico de
espuma de poliuretano. El medallón trasero puede abrirse
y cerrarse independientemente del accionamiento de la
capota, cuya apertura se puede efectuar mediante un
mando a distancia o pulsando una tecla bajo el tablero de
instrumentos.
El habitáculo, por su parte, ofrece un diseño vanguar-
dista que se ve respaldado por materiales y acabados de
