El MoMa, un espacio sumamente provocador, subver-
sivo y enriquecedor. Siempre abierto a la visión de toda
clase de artistas más experimentales, desde clásicos
como Van Gogh o Matisse hasta Andy Warhol. Es el tem-
plo del arte moderno y contemporáneo por excelencia,
quizá el museo considerado más influyente durante
el último cuarto de siglo XX y principios del siglo XXI,
abriendo la creatividad a campos como la fotografía, el
diseño, el cine y la tecnología. Su fundación se remonta
al año 1929 en plena crisis ecónomica, con el fin de dar
albergue al movimiento conocido como la Vanguardia, se
adelanta a la Modernidad, es la casa del Pop Art, único
movimiento de origen norteamericáno, hoy también se
pueden contemplar el posmodernismo y la actualidad.

The MoMa, a supremely evocative space, subversive,
and enriching. Always open to the vision of a wide
range of experimental artists, from the classics of Van
Gogh, or Matisse, to Andy Warhol. It is the temple of
modernand contemporary art par excellence, perhaps
themost influentialmuseumof the last quarter of the
20th century and the beginning of the 21st, opening
itself, aswell, to the field of photography, design, film,
and technology. Its foundation dates back to 1929, in
themidst of theGreatDepression, with thegoal of har-
boring art from the movement known as Vanguard,
then Modern, until it became the home of Pop Art, a
uniquely Americanmovement. Today, one can admire
postmodern and contemporaryworks.
