by folding the seats, you get a 500-liter trunk and
the ideal excuse to include the GG50’s distinctive
trait: a rear lid attached to the roof with hinges,
resulting in a maximum use of space.
Inside there are also details that differ from
the traditional model. Today, since the transmis-
sion shift is commonly located behind the steer-
ing wheel, the use of the right hand has
diminished considerably. That is why some of the
controls that used to be on the left side of the
GG50, such as the light controls, are now on the
opposite side.
With creations like this, everyone will be anx-
iously awaiting the arrival of each Italdesign
anniversary.
El tanque de combustible, que normalmente se encuen-
tra detrás de los asientos, fue ubicado en la parte baja del
GG50. Así, al plegar los asientos se obtiene una cajuela de
500 litros de capacidad, que se ha convertido en el pretexto
ideal para incluir el rasgo distintivo del GG50: una tapa pos-
terior fijada al techo por medio de bisagras, con lo cual se
aprovecha al máximo el espacio. En el interior también
encontramos detalles diferentes del modelo tradicional.
Debido a que actualmente los cambios de la transmisión
están situados detrás del volante los conductores han dis-
minuido el hábito de utilizar la mano derecha durante la con-
ducción. Por este motivo en el GG50 algunos controles que
tradicionalmente se encuentran en el lado izquierdo, como el
interruptor de las luces, fueron ubicados en el lado contrario.
Con creaciones como ésta todos esperamos ansiosa-
mente la llegada de cada aniversario de Italdesign.
