ablando de yates Wally es un excelente referente
en todo lo relacionado a la construcción de embar-
caciones, ya sea a motor o de vela: calidad, diseño
y tecnología son algunas de las características que los dis-
tinguen. Y si lo miramos por fuera las líneas de su casco
evocan a su hermano el Wally Y3K.
Su cubierta es completamente llana, lo que facilita
caminar y realizar las operaciones necesarias sin tener que
estar esquivando obstáculos. Además del diseño, esta
embarcación cuenta con un sistema diseñado por Wally
para que una sola persona pueda navegar sin inconvenien-
tes, en la popa localizamos el garage para la lancha auxiliar,
así como un espacio de almacenamiento.
El velamen, que en su conjunto suma 386 m

, está
perfectamente diseñado para sacar provecho de cual-
quier situación, apoyado por la resistencia de los mate-
riales que componen a todo este yate y, sobre todo, al
mástil principal, que gracias a su configuración y compo-
sición da un margen de movimiento, flexibilidad y rigi-
dez que ayudan al excelente desempeño del barco, lo
que le permite desplazarse a velocidades de 10 nudos
con viento de ocho nudos. Todo está diseñado con la
precisión que requiere un velero que, por donde se vea,
está involucrado con la tecnología, a veces valiéndose de
ella y otras tantas siendo la “punta de lanza”.

and above all, the main mast, which thanks to its
configuration and composition gives a margin of

the precision required by the yacht which, wherever
it goes, is involvedwith technology, at times valuing
