A
ctualmente se pueden visitar dos exposicio-
nes de la escultora Louise Bourgeois, una de
las artistas vivas más importantes que cono-
ció el siglo XX, una en Boston y otra en varias ciuda-
des europeas y estadounidenses.
El Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston presenta
la muestra titulada “Bourgeois in Boston”, que reúne
obras de colecciones públicas y privadas del lugar. Se
encuentra abierta al público desde el año pasado y
permanecerá hasta principios de marzo del 2008.
La Tate Modern de Londres en colaboración con el
Centro Pompidou de París organizaron una retros-
pectiva. Habiéndose presentado en la Tate, continua-
rá itinerante en el Pompidou (primavera 2008), en el
Guggenheim de Nueva York (verano 2008), en el
Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Los Ángeles
(otoño 2008) y en el Hirshorn Museum & Sculpture
Garden de Washington (primavera 2009).

here are currently two exhibitions of one of
the most important sculptors of the 20th
century, Louise Bourgeois, one in Boston
and the other in various European and US cities.
The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston is
showing the simple entitled “Bourgeois in
Boston”, that brings together works of public and
private collections of the city. It has been open to
the public from last year and will run through
March 2008.
London’s TateModern in collaborationwith the
Pompidou Center in Paris has organized a retro-
spective. Having been presented at the Tate, it will
continue traveling from the Pompidou (spring
2008), to the Guggenheim in New York (summer
2008), the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary
Art (fall 2008) and the Hirshorn Museum &
Sculpture Garden inWashington (spring 2009).
