En una de las ciudades principales de China, Beijing, se
encuentra la famosa Ciudad Prohibida, nombre original
“Ciudad Púrpura Prohibida”, donde los emperadores de
las dinastías Ming y Qing vivieron y administraron su
gestión. Protegido por inmensas paredes es uno de los
palaciosmás grandes del mundo, y hoy en día se puede
caminar por el museo imperial del palacio para admirar
y gozar de la arquitectura, los tesoros y, sobre todo,
tener la oportunidad de conocer este fabuloso lugar
declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO
en 1987.

En la gama del valle de Songpan, norte de la montaña
de Minshan de Chengdu, está el impresionante valle
largo de Huang, famoso por su paisaje mágico que
comprende más de 3,000 piscinas multicolores que lo
convierten en una maravilla de la naturaleza.
Agregado en 1991 a la lista de herencia natural del
mundo, sus 3,400 tonalidades se deben a las forma-
ciones de cal y minerales de la zona.

Considerada como una de las nuevas maravillas del
mundo o simplemente maravilla del mundo moderno,
la Gran Muralla China cuenta con una extensión de
6,500 kilómetros que abarcan siete provincias. Fue
erigida por el emperador Qin con la intención de unir los
diferentes puntos de defensa de China y crear una bar-
rera contra la invasión mongola. Este impresionante
monumento es el único en el mundo que puede verse
desde el espacio y es el más largo realizado por lamano
del hombre.

Al visitar China no puede dejar de conocer el Bund
Shanghai, zona exclusiva constituida por 52 edificios
donde se ubican bancos de varios países, así como
algunos de los edificios más emblemáticos de la etapa
colonial europea. Situada a orillas del río Huangpu,
frente al barriode Pudong, abarca desde el puente Baidu
hasta un kilómetro y medio adelante.

“Purple Forbidden City” where the emperors of the
Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled.
Protected by enormous walls, it is one of the
largest palaces in the world and nowadays visitors
can walk through the palace’s imperial museum
to admire and enjoy the architecture, the treas-
ures and above all, learn about this fabulous place
that was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO
in 1987.

In the range of the valley of Songpan, north of the
Minshan de Chengdu Mountain, there is the
impressive long valley of Huang, famous for its
magical landscape of more than 3,000 multicol-
ored pools that make it a wonder of nature. Added
in 1991 to the world heritage list, its 3,400 tones
are due to the line and mineral formations in the
zone.

or simply a wonder of the modern world, the Great
Wall of China is 6,500 kilometers long and extends
over seven provinces. It was built by the Emperor
Qin with the intention of joining China’s different
defense point and creating a barrier against a
Mongolian invasion. This impressive monument
is the only one that can be seen from space and is
the longest ever built by man.

When visiting China do not leave Bund Shanghai
off your itinerary, an exclusive area consisting of
52 buildings that house the banks of several dif-
ferent countries, as well as some of the most
emblematic buildings of European colonial times.
Situated on the banks of the River Huangpu, oppo-
site the Pudong neighborhood, it stretches one
and a half kilometers from the Baidu bridge.
