El Freak es el resultado del esfuerzo técnico, de
tres renombrados ingenieros relojeros. El arreglo de
las partes fue inconcebiblemente anti-ortodoxo pues
no tuvo una caja convencional, el cristal y el bisel son
parte del movimiento. Esta edición no tiene corona, ni
manecillas y todo el movimiento indica la hora.
Contiene menos piezas que cualquier reloj
actual, con un carrusel tourbillón por necesidad.
Ninguno ha sido diseñado de esta manera. El Freak
Blue Phantom es el precursor en el uso del silicio, en
el contexto de la necesidad y no como ornamento.
Mientras los ingenieros de Ulysse Nardin desa-
rrollaban este novedoso escape exploraron las dife-
rentes oportunidades con la implementación de la
nano-tecnología. De hecho, la precisión y lo liviano
confirman las habilidades únicas del silicio en la pro-
ducción de las ruedas de escape.
Escape Doble
El Escape Doble Ulysse es la parte vital del
movimiento del reloj y está hecha de un nuevo
material muy ligero pero extremadamente fuerte:
Diamond Sil.
El Escape Doble tiene dos ruedas, permitiendo
una transmisión de fuerza natural. La fuerza y el
movimiento tienen la misma dirección alternativa,
en el sentido de las horas, con la primera rueda y, en
el sentido contrario, con la segunda.
Las ruedas ahora tienen 18 dientes activos, que
garantizan una excelente transmisión de la energía al
oscilador. No necesita lubricación y la trasmisión es rea-
lizada a través de un mecanismo de engranes.
Ninguna compañía relojera ha fabricado una
pieza como el Freak, técnicamente más innovador
y jamás concebido hasta nuestro tiempo.
The Freak is the result of the technical effort, of
three well known watch engineers. The arrange-
ment of the parts was unconceivable anti-ortho-
dox since it has not a conventional box; the crystal
and the beveled edge are part of the movement.
This edition has no crown, nor hands and all the
movement indicates the hour.
It has fewer pieces than any other watch today,
with a tourbillion carrousel of necessity. None of
them has been designed like this. The Freak Blue
Phantom is the forerunner in the silicon use, in the
context of the necessity and not as an ornament.
While the engineers of Ulysse Nardin devel-
oped this innovative escape they explored the dif-
ferent opportunities with the implementation of
the nano-technology. In fact, the precision and the
lightness confirm the unique abilities of the sili-
con in the production of the escape wheels.
Double Escape
The Double Escape Ulysse is the vital part of the
movement of thewatchand it ismade of anewmate-
rial very light but extremely strong: Diamond Sil.
The Double Escape Double has two wheels,
allowing a natural force transmission. The force
and movement has the same alternative direction,
in the direction of the hours, with the first wheel
and, in the opposite direction, with the second one.
The wheels have now 18 active teeth, which
warrantee an excellent transmission of the energy
to the oscillator. It does not need lubrication and the
transmission is made through a gear mechanism.
No other watch company has made a piece
such as the Freak, technically more innovative and
ever conceived until today.
