In this 155th edition of Amura Yachts & Lifestyle, we take you to Namibia, a destination that invites you to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what truly matters: nature, silence, and the pleasure of traveling—and living— at an unhurried pace. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Namibia awakens the spirit of exploration through extraordinary experiences, where the towering dunes of the Namib Desert meet the sea. Here, the journey is elevated by exclusive lodges whose exceptional cuisine enriches every moment of the stay. From the desert, we move to the open sea, where the superyacht Amor à Vida has emerged as one of the season's standout debuts. Built by CRN, this six-deck yacht was custom-designed to reflect its owner's vision and features a hybrid propulsion system that delivers exceptionally smooth and quiet cruising while significantly improving energy efficiency. Innovation also reaches its highest expression on the road. Thanks to remarkable technological advances, today's hypercars are engineered to perform with equal confidence on public roads and racing circuits alike. In From Track to Street, we showcase an extraordinary selection of machines that push the boundaries of automotive performance. Art, too, has embraced the possibilities of technology. From oil on canvas, marble, and bronze, creative expression has entered the digital age, where technology has become a new artistic medium. Turkish artist Refik Anadol stands among its leading pioneers, creating monumental works that harness algorithms and artificial intelligence to transform data into immersive visual experiences. Travel, innovation, design, and art come together throughout this issue, reminding us that true luxury lies in discovering the world through new perspectives. Namibia is not a destination for everyone. It is a country that demands curiosity, a desire to explore and a search for authenticity Luxury here is the opportunity to wake up to the sound of the desert wind, to see a lion resting in the shade of an acacia tree or to lose yourself in the vastness of a desert landscape that seems to have come from another planet. For those looking for an original destination that combines the thrill of adventure with the comfort of the best accommodations, Namibia is an unbeatable choice. A country that invites you to disconnect from the world and reconnect with the essential: nature, tranquility and the pleasure of traveling – and living – without haste. The best time to visit? Between May and October, when the weather is cooler and drier, ideal for safaris and desert explorations.

2. La Vía Láctea puede admirarse en Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. / 1. Travelers have the opportunity to see lions in the wild. 2. The Milky Way can be admired from Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. 1. 2. Namibia still retains the magic of the unexplored. In a world where glitzy destinations are predictable, this country offers something truly unique: the feeling of being a traveler rather than a tourist. It is a place where the desert dunes merge with the ocean, where safaris are not an attraction but an immersive experience, and where accommodations are in perfect harmony with the environment. Beyond a simple tourist destination, it is an experience that redefines luxury: infinite spaces, starry skies without light pollution, ideal for observing the firmament and exploring a place where human presence is minimal and nature dictates the rules of the game. An original Safari To talk about Africa is to talk about safaris, but in Namibia the experience goes beyond the spectacular sightings of the Big Five – African elephant, black rhino, lion, brown buffalo and leopard – that can be admired in the 8,600-square-mile 217.4-mile-long Etosha National Park, where travelers can roam the vast plains as herds approach waterholes without the hustle and bustle of conventional safaris.

Here, luxury means the opportunity to view wildlife uninterrupted in the privacy of exclusive lodges. Namibia is not only about safaris. For the more globetrotting souls – or those venturing out for the first time – the Namib Desert, which runs along the country's Atlantic coast, is a must-see, with the dunes of Sossusvlei and their shades of gold and deep red. Climbing to the top of Dune 45 (557 ft) at sunrise is an unforgettable experience, where the silence and immensity of the landscape create a mystical sensation. For an original panoramic view, you can choose to fly over the desert in a small plane, hot air balloon or helicopter and appreciate the immensity of the area. From the heights you can admire the horizon of the dunes and the Atlantic coast, where the wrecks of the Skeleton Coast tell silent stories of stranded ships, accompanied by a colony of sea lions. Other attractions include the Fish River Canyon and Epupa Falls. The canyon, located in southern Namibia near South Africa, is one of the longest in the world at 100 miles long, 16.6 miles wide and 1,804 ft deep in places, the result of erosion caused by the forces of water, wind, gravity and earth movement over 650 million years. The Epupa Falls, located in northern Namibia on the border with Angola, are well worth seeing.

The historic Italian shipyard CRN, part of Ferretti Group, reaffirms its commitment to uncompromising excellence with M/Y Amor à Vida, a 221 ft superyacht conceived according to the purest principles of full-custom yacht building. Renowned for designing, engineering, and constructing fully bespoke yachts of up to 311 ft, CRN has created a vessel that embodies decades of technical expertise, artisanal craftsmanship, and refined Italian design. Amor à Vida is not an adaptation of an existing platform, but a yacht conceived entirely from the ground up to fulfil the owner's unique vision. Built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, she integrates advanced engineering solutions, enhanced energy efficiency, and an exceptional level of personalization that reflects the highest standards of contemporary yacht construction. The project combines the engineering excellence of CRN and Ferretti Group's Superyacht Division with the creative vision of renowned design studio Nuvolari Lenard. The bespoke interiors were developed by the studio's design team in collaboration with Interior Art Director Valentina Zannier, resulting in a cohesive spatial narrative where every material, finish, and texture has been selected with deliberate intention. Throughout the design and construction process, Moran Yacht & Ship represented the owner, ensuring that every aspect of the yacht faithfully reflected the client's vision and lifestyle. Six Decks With six decks, an 38 ft 7 in beam and a gross tonnage of 1,447 GT, Amor à Vida accommodates up to 14 guests across five luxurious VIP staterooms. The entire upper deck has been reserved for the owner's private use. Positioned forward, the owner's suite enjoys uninterrupted 180-degree panoramic views, while the multifunctional foredeck remains an exclusive retreat—an uncommon level of privacy, even among yachts of this calibre. From a technical standpoint, Amor à Vida marks an important milestone as the first CRN superyacht equipped with a hybrid propulsion system. She reaches a top speed of 16 knots while cruising comfortably at 15 knots. The hybrid configuration optimizes the efficiency of both the main engines and generators, delivering quieter, smoother navigation while reducing overall energy consumption through an advanced heat recovery system that is particularly effective when the yacht is at anchor. The result is a harmonious balance between performance, comfort, and environmental responsibility. Visually, the yacht is defined by an elegant, flowing profile. Soft, sculptural lines extend seamlessly from the upper deck to the beach club, visually merging with the vessel's wake. A commanding, architectural mast crowns the composition, reinforcing the dialogue between structural strength and timeless elegance. Social interaction lies at the heart of the design philosophy. ·amura· 39 Flota • Fleet

·amura· 40 Flota • Fleet For decades, the superyacht industry has been synonymous with extreme luxury, impeccable design, and cutting-edge technical performance. Today, that same sector faces an inevitable question: how can it evolve without compromising the environment that makes it possible? Breakthrough, the latest and most ambitious project by Feadship, offers an answer that is as compelling as it is visionary. After five years of development, Breakthrough emerged from a clear directive by her owners: to integrate genuine ecological technology—not symbolic gestures. The solution proposed by Feadship proved both bold and complex: a multifaceted, diesel-free approach capable of navigating between ports and powering all onboard systems and amenities through emission-free energy generated from green hydrogen. The primary technical challenge was formidable. Storing compressed liquid hydrogen at -423.4°F below deck within a luxury superyacht required a fundamental rethinking of safety protocols, naval engineering standards, and structural design. The commitment, however, was fully shared by the owner, who recognized that transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy solutions is not merely desirable, but imperative. Breakthrough is not an experiment—it is a statement of intent. Feadship’s largest yacht to date Measuring 387 ft in overall length, the yacht was launched at Feadship’s facilities in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Constructed in steel and aluminum, it is the largest yacht ever built by the Dutch shipyard and, notably, the world’s first superyacht powered by a hydrogen fuel-cell system—an engineering milestone that redefines the concept of offshore propulsion. Both exterior and interior design were entrusted to the British studio RWD, which conceived a contemporary, refined, and highly functional aesthetic aligned with the yacht’s technological DNA. The project reflects Feadship’s public commitment to developing net-zero-emission yachts by 2030, setting a new benchmark for the industry at large. The naval architecture is equally impressive. Breakthrough features five decks above the waterline and two below, with the owner’s deck positioned 121 ft above sea level. It also boasts the greatest number of hull openings ever incorporated into a Feadship: 14 sliding balconies that remain completely concealed when closed, preserving the purity of its lines and overall design integrity. The owner’s suite is, quite literally, a private apartment at sea. It comprises two staterooms, two full bathrooms with independent dressing areas, a private gym, pantry, two offices—each with its own fireplace—and an expansive lounge offering uninterrupted ocean views. Conceived for extended stays, the space ensures that comfort is not compromised by technology, but rather enhanced through it.

Measuring 387 ft in overall length, the yacht was launched at Feadship's facilities in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. 1. The early stages of green hydrogen integration For extended voyages or in regions where green hydrogen infrastructure remains unavailable, Breakthrough relies on MTU generators powered by HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil), a significantly cleaner alternative to conventional diesel. These generate the electricity required to drive the 3,200 kW pod motors supplied by ABB, maintaining a hybrid configuration consistent with the yacht’s sustainable philosophy. Notably, the yacht stores just 543 kWh of energy in batteries—a modest figure compared to other projects. The reason is both simple and revolutionary: her fuel-cell system can provide up to a full week of silent operation, whether at anchor or cruising at 10 knots, without emissions or vibration. More than a superyacht, Breakthrough is a floating manifesto. It marks a decisive shift in how luxury at sea is conceived, demonstrating that technological innovation, environmental responsibility, and exclusivity can—and must—coexist. In the language of high-end yachting, this Feadship does not merely break paradigms; it redefines them.
