Museum Berggruen

In Front of the Charlottenburg 1alace, in the Western

Qart of Stlerbau and belonging to the National Gal-

lerZ of Berlin, the Berggruen Museum concentrates

Qart of the legacZ that was granted bZ the renewable

contract of 1996, created bZ the collector and art mer-

chant Hein[ Berggruen, in what was called a £recon-

ciliation gesture¤ it includes several art Qieces from

1ablo 1icasso, Henri Matisse, Alberto Giacometti, 1aul

Klee or Georges BraRue.

In 1icasso’s case, the Qermanent eYhibition is

comQosed of nearlZ 100 works of th e Malaga art-

ist, called £1icasso and his time¤ it eYtends nearlZ

through three floors and it’s one of the most com-

Qlete eYhibitions of 1icasso in the world, it includes

works on QaQer from the beginning of his career, to

masterQieces created during the last Zears of his

life,as well as stages and avant garde currents that

comQose his works.

This collection also includes 60 Qieces from 1aul

Klee, as well as sculQtures created bZ Alberto Giacom-

etti and nearlZ 20 masterQieces bZ Henri Matisse. The

showing in this museum never stoQs enriching itself,

with Qieces acRuired from all around the world, includ-

ing art meccas like New :ork’s MoMA.

AnZ lover of the most eYcelse modern-classic art

must visit this museum, it’s comQared to none other

in the world and even when these artists can be aQ-

Qreciated in other latitudes, Berlin has imQregnated

them with an indescribable soul.

En el caso de 1icasso, la eYQosiciwn Qermanente

de mgs un centenar de obras del artista malaguevo,

titulada £1icasso Z su tiemQo¤, se eYtiende a travns

de tres Qisos. Se trata de una de las mgs comQletas

colecciones de 1icasso en todo el mundo, Ques inclu-

Ze trabaKos sobre QaQel desde los inicios de su carrera,

hasta comQleKos trabaKos creados durante los |ltimos

avos de su vida, así como las etaQas Z corrientes van-

guardistas Rue comQrenden su obra.

Esta colecciwn tambinn incluZe 60 obras de 1aul

Klee, así como esculturas de Alberto Giacometti Z al-

rededor de 20 obras de Henri Matisse. La muestra de

este museo no ha deKado de enriRuecerse, con obras

adRuiridas de otras Qartes del mundo, incluZendo el

MoMA de Nueva :ork.
