Neues Museum
This museum is the original work of Friedrich August
Stler, who began its construction in the Zear of 1841,
it was rebuilt in 2003 under the direction of architect
David ChiQQer¬eld, since it’s one of the most affected
sites of WW II. This intervention allowed the merge of
better asQects from Stler’s antiRue stZle, alongside
with ChiQQer¬eld’s contemQorarZ vision, offering an
edi¬cation that reincarnates the most comQlete res-
urrection of GermanZ and it’s culture.
CurrentlZ, oQened in 2009 - after 70 Zears closes¡
this sQace hosts Qieces from the EgZQtian Museum,
the Museum of 1re- and EarlZ historZ, as well as a Col-
lection of 1aQZri comQosing an eYtense showing that
covers nearlZ 600 Zears of historZ, since ancient time
to the beginning of humanitZ’s civili[ation. It contains
emblematic Qieces such as Nefertiti’s bosom, and
a colossal statue of the god Helios that dates back
to the II centurZ, as well as an Amarna art collection
from the EgZQtian Museum and uniRue archeologi-
cal elements, for eYamQle, the skull of a Neanderthal
from the Le Moustier. Likewise, the collection of TroKan
reliRues from Heinrich Schliemann, establishes an im-
Qortant reference to understand the develoQment of
humanitZ throughout ancient times.
The New Berlin Museum, located in the Muse-
um Island, establishes a magnificent view, a retro-
sQective that fullZ covers men’s evolution on the
Qlanet, as well as the develoQment in Africa, EgZQt
and the 0rient. This is one of the most sQectacular
museums on all the globe, and it’s a keZ element
due to the fact that the Museum Island is a true
World Heritage Site.

comQleta resurrecciwn de Alemania Z su cultura.
Actualmente, abierto desde el 2009 ¡luego de 70
avos de Qermanecer cerrado- este recinto acoge las
obras del Museo EgiQcio, el Museo de 1rehistoria Z
1rotohistoria, así como la Colecciwn de 1aQiros, com-
Qoniendo así una eYtensa muestra Rue abarca 600
avos de historia desde los antiguos inicios de la civili-
[aciwn humana. Contiene Qie[as emblemgticas como
el busto de Nefertiti Z una colosal estatua de Helios
Rue data del siglo II, así como la colecciwn del arte
amarna del Museo EgiQcio Z elementos arRueolwgicos
|nicos, como el crgneo de Neandertal de Le Moustier.
Asimismo, la colecciwn de reliRuias troZanas de Hein-

Es así como el Nuevo Museo de Berlín, ubicado en
la Isla de los Museos, establece una magní¬ca visiwn,
una retrosQectiva Rue abarca Qor comQleto la evolu-
ciwn del hombre en el Qlaneta, así como el desarrollo
de µfrica, EgiQto Z 0riente. Se trata de uno de los mu-
seos mgs esQectaculares de todo el globo Z un ele-
mento clave del Qor Run la Isla de los Museos es un
verdadero 1atrimonio Mundial.
