ace dos décadas, el concepto NSX llevó al Acu-
ra a ocupar la cima del desempeño. Las nue-
vas posibilidades aportadas por la tecnología
híbrida actual permiten a la fábrica japonesa Honda
enfocar el talento de sus mejores diseñadores e in-
genieros a la generación de vehículos dotados de un
máximo de eficacia y rendimiento.
Su primer logro es el prototipo del Acura NSX Con-
cept. Lo único que se ha dado a conocer hasta ahora,
tras su presentación en el Salón de Detroit, es que
este automóvil será fabricado con los materiales más
avanzados y ligeros disponibles en el presente.
También se adelantó que su impulso será una
aportación compartida de un motor V6 más dos eléc-
tricos, que repartirán la potencia entre los ejes delan-
tero y trasero de acuerdo al grado de adherencia.
Para los ingenieros y los diseñadores de Acura,
el Concepto NSX representa una oportunidad de po-
ner a prueba las fronteras entre evolución y revolu-
ción. Y tal como se anticipaba, el Acura NSX Concept
logró ser una de las novedades más esperadas en el
Salón de Detroit.
Honda asegura que la clave del éxito de este nue-
vo modelo se encuentra en la excelente relación peso-
potencia, que en este caso también permite un super-
deportivo muy eficiente.
Y un detalle más: su caja de cambios secuencial de
doble embrague.
Por el momento, esos son los pocos datos que dis-
ponibles sobre este nuevo modelo; eso, y que en EEUU
se llamará Acura NSX.

to occupy the peak of performance. The new
possibilities created bymodern hybrid tech-
nology allows the Japanese Honda production site
to focus the talent of its brightest designers and
engineers into the generation of vehicles dotted
with the maximum efficiency and performance.
Its first achievement was the Acura NSX Con-
cept. All that is known at the moment, after its
presentation in the Detroit Auto Show, is that this
vehicle will be built using the lightest and most ad-
vanced materials found today.
It was also announced that it would be propelled
by one V6 engine working alongside two electric ones,
which will distribute the power from the frontal axis
to the rear depending on the degree of adherence.
For the engineers and designers of Acura, the
NSX Concept represents an opportunity to put to
the test the boundaries between evolution and re-
volution. And, as it was anticipated, the Acura NSX
concept became one of the most anticipated no-
velties of the Detroit Auto Show.
Honda announced that the key to the success of
this new model is found in the excellent relations-
hip between weight-power, which in this case paves
the way for an efficient super sports vehicle.
One final detail: its dual clutch gearbox.
At the moment, only a limited amount of data
has been given about this new model, although it
has been confirmed that it will be named the “Acu-
ra NSX” in the United States.
