Cocina Croata ante el Adriático

A
l llegar a la isla de Hvar, una de las más bellas
del mar Adriático, nos alojamos en el Hotel
Adriana. Es de diseño moderno, minimalista,
con ese azul de sus neones que vibran y compiten
con la paz del puerto. El edificio blanco, reflejado en
las aguas cristalinas, ofrece una vista maravillosa
del pueblo de Hvar, su puerto, la colina con su for-
taleza y barcos que flotan como surgidos de otro
tiempo, contrastando con la modernidad de sober-
bios yates.
El hotel ofrece un suntuoso Spa y su piscina en
el techo. Nos dejamos hechizar por ese lugar que nos
transportó al futuro, con vista al el encantador pasa-
do. Descubrimos el bar situado en el último piso, con
una vista panorámica del pueblo antiguo, los yates
que adornan el puerto y las islas Paklinski. Es un en-
torno sofisticado con jardines en terraza y un diseño
impresionante para tomar una copa antes de cenar
ahí, donde se encuentra todo el Jet Set que visita Hvar.
Después nos dirigimos al mejor restaurante de
Hvar, el Val Adriana, situado en la terraza al pie del ho-
tel, donde se aprecia una estupenda vista y se respira
un ambiente sofisticado. Disfrutamos al aire libre ce-

e arrived at Hvar, one of the most beauti-
ful islands of the Adriatic Sea and checked
into the Adriana Hotel. The Adriana has a
minimalist modern design, surrounded with its vi-
brating neon blues in deep contrast with the peaceful
port. The building, all white, is reflected in the crystal
clearwaters. It offers awonderful viewof the town, the
port, the hill with its fortress, and the numerous boats
floating as if arising fromanother time, indisparity to
themodernity of superb yachts.
The hotel offers a luxurious spa and a rooftop pool.
We allowourselves to be amazed by this place that car-
riesustothefuture,overlookingthecharmingpast.We
discovered the bar which is located on the top floor. It
hasapanoramicviewoftheoldtown,theyachtsadorn-
ing the harbor and the Paklinski islands. It is a sophis-
ticated settingwith terraced gardens in a stunning de-
sign; a great place for a drink before dinner. It is here,
whereyoucanmeet all the Jet Setters visitingHvar.
After a fewdrinks, we headed to the best restaurant
inHvar,theValAdriana.Itislocatedattheterracebythe
foot of the hotel. You can appreciate a great view and
breathe an atmosphere of sophistication. We enjoyed
