Defender, corazón vagabundo

A pesar de que conserva muchos elementos clási-
cos, como los vidrios planos, las calaveras redondas, las
láminas de aluminio pegadas con remaches o la transmi-
sión manual, sus cualidades motrices y todoterreno son
sorprendentes. No hay territorio, por escarpado que sea,
que le impida el paso y no hay conductor que no se sienta
tentado a desafiar pendientes extremas o a abrir su pro-
pia brecha ahí donde no la haya. El corazón Land Rover se
mantiene intacto en Defender.
Tras el volante, al mando de un vehículo de grandes
dimensiones y de buena altura como éste, el conductor
percibe con claridad el curso de cada llanta por la ruta ele-
gida, de forma tal que su manejo por espacios pequeños
o por terreno accidentado es extremadamente preciso. Es
unmodelo para aventureros indomables.
El Land Rover 110 posee cuatro puertas laterales y
una trasera por el cual se accede a la tercera fila de asien-
tos, incluso puede llevar la clásica escalera posterior para
trepar hasta el techo, armado tal vez de una cámara con
telefoto para capturar la naturaleza salvaje.
Aunque su interior es aventurero, ofrece la opción de
asientos en piel y sistemas de sonido y entretenimiento
de nivel “premium”. Sumotor diesel de 2.2 litros es ligero
y potente. Destaca una caja de cambios de relaciones cor-
tas que a poca velocidad y bajas revoluciones puede desa-
rrollar un empuje capaz de ponerlo a rodar con eficiencia
hasta en los terrenosmás hostiles.

It keeps many classic elements, like flat
glass, round lights,aluminum lamins attached
with rivets, or the manual transmission. It’s
motor and all terrain qualities are magnificent.
There is no steep territory that stops the way
and no driver that does not feel tempted to defy
xtreme slopes or mark his own road where there
was none. The heart of the Land Rover is intact
in the Defender.
Behind the wheel, the command of the great
dimensioned vehicle is felt by the driver with
clarity in each movement on the chosen path. It’s
drive in small or big roads in paved or wild terrain
are extremely precise. It is a model for indomi-
table riders.
The Land Rover 110 has four lateral doors and
one at the back, through which you may access the
third sitting row, it can even carry the classic poste-
rior ladder to climb to the roof, armed with a camera
to capture nature.
Although its interior is adventurous, it offers the
option of leather sittings, sound systems, and “premi-
um” level entertainment. It’s diesel engine of 2.2 litres
is light andpotent. Agearbox of short relations stands
out, that at fewspeed and lowrevolutions candevelop
a drive capable of putting thewheels to rotatewith ef-
ficiency even in themost hostile environments.
