ste 2015 en Acapulco, Guerrero, el torneo de
tenis de mayor prestigio en América Latina,
el Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por
HSBC, vivió una exitosa edición del Hot Tour
de la ATP.
En su edición XXII, segunda sobre canchas duras,
los jugadores se disputaron el título de campeón y un
premio de 1.2millones de dólares en la rama varonil (ATP)
y 250,000 dólares para la femenil (WTA). La categoría
varonil presentó un intenso y emocionante recorrido
hacia el podio. El favorito, el español David Ferrer, jugó la
final con el japonés Kei Nishikori a quien se impuso con un
marcador de 6-3 y 7-5.
En la categoría femenil, la vencedora fue la suiza
Timea Bacsinszky, quien se llevó la corona tras vencer
a la francesa Caroline Garcia (6-3 y 6-0). Otras de las
figuras destacables en la justa deportiva, fueron la rusa
Maria Sharapova, la italiana Sara Errani, el búlgaro Grigor
Dimitrov y el sudafricano Kevin Anderson.

Con la visión de ofrecer un evento único y de excelencia
internacional, el estadio Mextenis tuvo importantes
modificaciones, como las del Grand Stand, lo que dio
cabida a un mayor número de asistentes; su nueva
infraestructura hace más atractivo y sorprendente al
estadio en beneficio de la afición.

cessful ATPHot Tour edition.
In its XXII edition, the second one played on hard
court, the players disputed the title of Champion and a
1.2million dollars prize from the Association of Tennis
Professionals (male) and a 250,000 dollars prize from
theWomenTennisAssociation. TheATP tour displayed
anintenseandexcitingruntothepodium.Thefavorite,
Spaniard David Ferrer, played the final match against
the JapaneseKei Nishikori, defeatinghim6-3and7-5.
OntheWTA,thewinnerwasSwissTimeaBacsinszky,
who took the crown after defeating French Caroline
Garcia (6-3y6-0). Some other remarkablefigures, in the
sport event were RussianMaria Sharapova, Italian Sara
Errani, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and South African
KevinAnderson.

transformations, such as the Grand Stand, which
