irha, el evento mundial de gastronomía,

hospitalidad y food service, llegó a

México para su primera edición 2016,

celebrada en el World Trade Center de la

Ciudad de México del 10 al 12 de febrero,

con más de 314 expositores y un programa integral de

catas y conferencias.

Marie-Odile, directora y fundadora de Sirha, de-

claró en exclusiva para Amura Yachts & Lifestyle, que

Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad y aseguró que

México continuará con Sirha cada año. Sirha es an-

fitrión de prestigiosos concursos como Bocuse d’Or y

Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, cuyas eliminatorias

continentales para América Latina, se llevaron a cabo

en esta edición.

Bocuse d’Or

En el marco de Sirha México 2016, se llevó a cabo

Bocuse D´Or, el concurso creado en 1987 por Paul Bo-

cuse, que supone ser una “sinfonía gastronómica”.

Los 10 chefs ganadores de la Selección Continental

de Latinoamérica (Argentina, Brasil, Guatemala, Chile,

Colombia, Costa Rica, México, Perú y Uruguay), co-

cinaron por cinco horas, frente a una audiencia de pro-

fesionales y apasionados de la gastronomía.

Los ganadores que consiguieron su pase a la gran

final del Bocuse d’Or en Expo Sirha 2017, del 24 al 25

po de Brasil, conformado por la chef Giovanna Grossi,

(del restaurante Parmegiana en Maceio), así como

su asistente, Nicholas Santos. El presidente de esta

edición fue el chef Enrique Olvera, reconocido por su

restaurante Pujol, de la Ciudad de México.

Bocuse d’Or

The Bocuse d’Or, a contest created in 1987 by Paul Bo-

cuse, was also held at Sirha Mexico 2016. The contest,

a supposed “gastronomic symphony,” saw 10 award-

winning chefs from the Latin American Continental

Selection (Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, Chile, Costa

Rica, Mexico, Peru, and Urugay), who cook for five

hours in front of an audience composed by profession-

als and gastronomy enthusiasts.

The Brazilian team, led by chef Giovanna Grossi,

from the Parmegiana restaurant in Maceio, and by

her assistant, Nicholas Santos, were the winners in

this edition and obtained their pass to the Bocuse d’or

grand finale at the Expo Sirha 2017, to be held on the

24th and 25th of January in Lyon, France. The presi-

dent of this edition was chef Enrique Olvera, well-

known for his restaurant Pujol, located in Mexico City.
