The
Resistance Museum
where recreates
the five years of
German invasion.
The streets of this city during summer time
are toured by the enchantment of the old trolleys
and are protected from modernity, which guar-
antees you can enjoy a good day strolling by its
pedestrian walkways.
This millennial city deserves a slow walking
tour starting by the Karl Johans Street, which
runs from the railroad Central Station to the Roy-
al Palace and takes you to the new Opera House
building, opened in 2008. This building was
mainly built with white marble and has turned
into a meeting center with a spectacular view of
the Fjord of Oslo.
You can feel a special atmosphere in this city,
with Street musicians, flowers and picturesque
attractions. You can rest for a moment by the sea
and find the energy to continue strolling and enjoy
the Akershus fortress, with its Middle-age and Re-
naissance buildings which had an important role
in various historical battles. Today, this fortress
houses the Museum of the Resistance and is the
seat of official acts.
Las calles de esta capital durante el verano son
recorridas por el encanto de los viejos tranvías y
están protegidas de la modernidad, lo que garanti-
za poder disfrutar de un buen día paseando por sus
andadores peatonales.
Esta milenaria ciudad merece un recorrido pausa-
do iniciando por el paseo en la calle Karl Johans, que
va de la Estación Central de ferrocarril hasta el Palacio
Real y que conduce al nuevo edificio de la Ópera, inau-
gurado en 2008. Este edificio luce en su mayoría una
impresionante estructura de mármol blanco, y se ha
convertido en un centro de reunión con una especta-
cular vista al fiordo de Oslo.
En esta ciudad se puede sentir una atmósfera
especial, compuesta por músicos callejeros, flores y
pintorescos atractivos. Descansar un momento junto
al mar, brinda la energía para continuar el andar y dis-
frutar de la fortaleza de Akershus, cuyas principales
construcciones datande la EdadMedia y el Renacimiento
y que tuvieron un papel importante en diversas batallas
históricas. En la actualidad esta fortaleza es el Museo de
la Resistencia y sede de actos oficiales.
